Thank you so much for your high-quality content Pascal! As a (maybe) future Lufthansa Aviation Training Switzerland candidate, I really appreciate seeing content focused on pilot assessment and training. Please more of that :) Greetings!
Also live in switzerland and planning to prepare for the DLR. Did you pass the Test ncla97? Is there any "Pilot Group" available for Questions and stuff?
I just took the DLR two weeks ago and i'm waiting my result , i wish i find this video earlier but i worked hard for the DLR and i believe i will pass it.
@@Grasswalker_22 no answer yet unfortunately from anyone. Apparently Ryanair stopped some time in the autumn because their sims are full, and Wizz Air has temporarily stopped hiring due to their decreased capacity because of the engine issues on their A320neos
What does it mean when you say about “Lufthansa you got just one shot and if you screw it up you’re done for the rest of your life” Means that for that airline itself or global? Thank you
Pascal that was amazing video like always but I had question about the maths and physics and cognitive questions do airlines normally give you examples of questions that might come up because if you revise the wrong thing and if it doesn’t come up in the assessment then you can fail because I like revising when I know what will come up so I can prepare as much as I can and feel confident when going into the assessment and I don’t if it is different for different airlines because I am from the UK and I am planning to apply to EasyJet after I finish my training and also keep up the awesome content.✈️👊🙌❤️
Hi Pascal! Thanks for your input! I'm applying for some airlines here in Germany, and for at least Discover and Eurowings Germany, the download documents for the screening briefing include an FNPT-II PA-34 (apart from the A320 briefing). I've heard that if you don't have more than 500h of flying experience, they don't need to screen you on an FFS. Can you confirm this? I already e-mailed Interpersonal but no reply so far.... I am looking forward to book either an FNPT-II or an A320 screening prep session. Thanks a lot and cheers from Munich!
Thats true when you’re applying below 500 hours and they do not have the capacity they can screen you in a PA-34. I forgot to put that in the video. But in my case this video wasn’t only about discover. Tui for example had the screening in the FFS. The best of luck for you!! Und vielleicht sind wir ja bald Kollegen 🙌✌️💪
Hi @@Pascalklr! Shortly after this I received an invitation for the simulator screening. 🙂 I can confirm the “theory” about the low hours. I did it today in an FNPT-II (and passed btw 🙃). It was officially an Eurowings invitation but it is also recognised by Discover. Also vielleicht sehen wir uns tatsächlich bald. ✈️ Cheers from the ICE towards Munich 🚅

Hi @rodrigopmps , congrats🥳! I'm planning on applying there myself next year when I finished my training. Can you tell if the FNPT II P34 had a glass cockpit or traditional steam gauges for instrumentation? Many thanks!
@@cruisereliefpilot, hi! Thank you! Good luck for your applications! ✈️ The FNPT had the old school instruments, however they now changed for a DA-42 with G1000. ;)
Hello, thank you for your videos. My son has chosen to become a pilot, so I am searching for information. Obviously there are different courses , but what are those CADET programs, what are the differences between them and the courses. Any recommendations?
Great Input, thanks a lot! One question: The sim-based screeings for ready entries, does one usually sit in the F/O position or captain seat (if applying for F/O)?
For me they actually let me choose and I chose the left-hand seat. If you're straight from flight school, maybe this is the more comfortable option because right seat is quite strange at the beginning.
Question, is it possible in like 4 years time that major airlines would be hiring pilots with an SI 1st class medical?? Or are they already doing that? Basically does it matter to the majors if a pilot applying has an SI 1st class medical?
