Cutting his hair while taking playdoh out of his mouth. This is the most real life video i have ever seen on youtube! Gonna try this tonight!!! Thank you!
@@DariusLungoceamy wife took our son to a barber since I procrastinated for too long lol. It came out alright but for his second cut I’m going to attempt it
Thank you! I just did this haircut on my son! He looks so adorable. His moving around so much made me mess up a little when I was cutting with scissors, but it really isn't noticeable. Your son is so handsome!
YES! I've been watching several videos on how to cut toddler hair. None of them have been realistic, which made me very hesitant to try this on my own. After seeing this video that depicts real life, I feel confident that I can cut my son's hair. Its good to know that goldfish and some distractions like Play-Doh will go a long way.
My husband and I are watching this on the tv now and cracking up at him eating play doh! Hubby said let’s not distract him with play doh. Such a cute cute cut though! Thank you for the tutorial. 😊,Candace
and he sits SO well. Considering trimming my 23 mos old grandson and he doesn't like his hair wet and does not sit still at all. Much more challenging than this cutie.
I've only ever cut my own hair (Number 2 guard all over during lockdown) So after this video I feel I've now got a qualification in cutting my sons hair. Wish me luck and I'll be sure to check in later to let you know how it goes! Wicked tutorial, thankyou!
Update* It went well, the other half doesn't seem to love it as much as I do but he still has 2 ears, 2 eyes, a nose and I haven't heard her packing my bags yet 😂😂 thankyou!
I too will be trying this on my son today. He got his first haircut about 3 months ago and I swear the barber gave him a bowl cut!!! Lol! I guess if I mess up the cut, I can go back to the barber for a second bowl cut 😳 Thanks for the video!
Fantastic! I need to figure out which way is the right way to part it from his crown. It sort of goes both ways right now lol Ill give this a go. It will be his first so I dont know if I am ready 😭
Thank you for this. I came here because my 15 month old is getting matted up in the back of his hair and I was thinking of just trimming the back. Now i want him to just get a whole hair cut. His dad says he wont need one cuz hes. a baby and he can wait til 2 yrs. I really wanna clean up his hair tho esp. Since its unmanageable! My baby is wiggly but I think we could make it work. He sits still for pocoyo! Any advice?
Our baby boy (1year old) , a normally very calm and easy child starts freeking out when he sees the trimmer? Even the very first time (so no previous experiences) I started with letting him feel the trimmer, on and off. It was a disaster, he starts crying and shaking like crazy! Nothing can comfort him, it takes a while to get him calm again. Any tips on getting your baby used to the trimmer?
You have the patience of a Saint I'm wanting to give this a go with my son but I'm so scared because he's such a fidget even more so than your little one here lol xx
He is adorable! I posted a video on how to cut a toddler boys hair too, so this came up as a recommend video. I will have to try some of the things you did. It turned out great!
We did this a while ago and did a pretty stellar job. About to do another cut this am. One thing I noticed that was hard is when you’re making the making the Mohawk is how far to go up on that. I think I went a little too low last time so he had a chunk of hair that would flop back. It looked quite funny.
This is what my 16 month old boy does. It's impossible to get near him with clippers and scissors aren't safe as he flails around so much that I'm worried about injuring him. Hence why he is stuck with long hair Beatles style that covers his ears and almost gets in his eyes 🤣 I hoped to get some tips from this video but I know he would never sit as still as this boy.
It's a Golden Life oh my 5 years! I only have been for almost a year. I use flats and prefolds about 40 that were used on my Husband... so all I had to do is get covers so yes saves so much money and I love it!

I stopped watching the cut and couldn't stop enjoying and laughing when he started eating the playdoh and you continuously tried taking it out of his mouth. Adorable! The cut looks so cute. il try this on my 2 year old. I have already cut his length from the crown, a month ago so its going to be a bit challenging. love to the lil one.
Love how REAL it is for most moms!!!
I've seen many tutorials where the kids are still like an adult - not my reality
My son would be screaming, turning and jumping all around, this baby is so calm just like an adult.

About to cut my sons hair for the first time. I’ve been bald for 14 years. Wish me(us) luck haha!
I am exactly in the same spot as you! Bald for about 16 years and will attempt to cut my 15 months old son's hair for the first time!
How did it go?

Handsome fella. My wife and I are going to give our little man his first cut today. Thank you for the video!
Can I just say I love the real life mama moments with the playdough 😂💙
The nonchalant grabbing of playdoh out of his mouth is the best.
My husband and I are watching this on the tv now and cracking up at him eating play doh! Hubby said let’s not distract him with play doh. Such a cute cute cut though! Thank you for the tutorial. 😊,Candace
We tried this on our 1.5 year old and it was a great success. Thank you!!!
That's awesome! Glad it was a help :)

Precious!!! I’m so tempted to try this but I fear it will not turn out as pro looking as yours!! What a doll baby you have ❤️
I've done it twice and I always end up with some patchy bald spots cause my son won't stop moving lol. He's cute so no one carss
Handsome boy and very neat haircut. also, Good job, baby for spitting the playdough out.
Where do you end the mohawk in the back (when you are setting up the part)?
Fantastic! I need to figure out which way is the right way to part it from his crown. It sort of goes both ways right now lol Ill give this a go. It will be his first so I dont know if I am ready 😭
Your voice is so soothing can you do an audio book . Would love to fall asleep listening to you talk
So cute, i think im gonna do this to my toddler too.
Your new friend mommy 😊

When he grabbed the scissors at 4:00 scared me for a second lol

Beautiful baby & beautiful momy 🥰
Hahah he’s such a cute boy! Lol when he started eating the play dough!! 🥴 I’m going to try this on my son today

That boy ate so much playdough
Well I think me and my husband are going to try this!
Lol'd at you scooping playdoh out of his mouth. Ahhh the #momlife!
myralg oh my gosh, right?! 😂😂😂
Omg it's hard to cut my son's hair lol, he can't stop moving his head, your son seems so calm, good tips though, thanks

How cute your son is....! Beautiful hair cut....
Wow..your son's hair is similar to mine and his names Elijah?! My sons name is Elijah. 😂
The problem is with the kid , staying still the whole time .
Oh my gosh he looks just like my baby boy. Like twins brother

His so cute ❤️ me and my will try this to our 21 months old
Gonna try this to my son 👌👍
Not gonna be as good as yours but I’m definitely getting him a haircut this week
Feeding your child play dough is optional right?? :-D lol Also, kudos that your child actually didn't scream and fight after the first five minutes!
Ruth Snyder lol!!!! You do what it takes 😂😂😂 clara was the culprit of that playdough 😂
@@erykagarza753 he eats play dough at the end of the video
How about watching the full video before making a comment like this?
Johnny C. Your comment makes no sense
@@2Tallteacher because the person my comment was directed at deleted there comment
So of course it doesn't make sense anymore 🙄
Johnny C. Ahhh I see. Sorry about that
What's the yellow plastic cup? I thought it was Play-Doh at first lol but I'm like no way is she letting him eat playdough.
Thank you for this - my son is just as wriggly as yours and I was trying to figure out how to cut his hair whilst he wriggles.
My son would be screaming bloody murder if I used clippers on him lol.
What if you baby doesn't like touching his head/hair and won't stop moving, what should we do?

Aw reminds me of my little Turkey salad lol(:
Thanks it’ll definitely help me !!!!
Love it! Hopefully my son cooperated as well as yours! 😭
do you have a link to what sedatives you used to keep him still?? lmao JK
Definitely gonna have to try this! Awesome video !
Cupcakes and Kickboxing thanks girl! ❤
I’m going to try this on my son 😄😄
That was easier and quicker than other ones I've seen, music was louder than your voice tho.
Omg your boy behaved so well the entire time! Mine lasted for 5mins 🤦🏻♀️and started to grab my scissor ... comb and buzzer >
Going to be doing this on both of my boys today. I'm nervous! 😬 btw this video made me crack up when he ate the play doh and spit it out. So cute! 😂
Howd it go?!
It actually went well! As long as they sit still I have no issues.
Kacuteeeee 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Eating the playdough made me totally lose focus but I’ve got the gist of of!
Is that a cloth diaper!? I cloth diaper my son too. Wanting to cut his hair he just turned a year.
Holly Dunn for sure! I’ve been cloth diapering for almost 5 years now 😍 Saves so much $$$!
It's a Golden Life oh my 5 years! I only have been for almost a year. I use flats and prefolds about 40 that were used on my Husband... so all I had to do is get covers so yes saves so much money and I love it!
Awesome job! I fear the first haircut for my son. Can I contract you? 😁
Step one. Getting my son to hold still

Almost 2 year old is terrified of hair clippers
I don't know if I would use electric clippers on wet hair..😆

love to the lil one.
my baby never put in his mouth anything au cauntraire .. he felt bad touching anything and took him time to play with playdoh 18 months old
Would be great if you tell and show him what you're doing and put a mirror in front of him. He was cute and very patient, though.
You're baby is eating play dough
You sound like the tiny treasures person
He eats lots of play dough
My kid screams at the sound of a trimmer :/
J
Why are you letting your baby eat play-dooh 😑
You can stick your scissorrs in the poor boys eye that way, you are working unsafe.
Play doh 💩
this hair style reminds me of an SS soldier..... terrible style.
s vs if you don’t like the style don’t do it. I think it’s cute!
