I typically avoid watching these kinds of series, but your take on this seems far beyond the quality of all other content creators Doing the same.
Its honestly so damn impressive the way you are able play at such a high level while simultaneously explaining each and every decision you make.
I eagerly await every new video you release to each and can honestly say your content has massive helped me improve at mid lane. Really, thank you for making these videos and please continue this series! Thanks shok, your a legend!
I appreciate it
The editing is really really nice love showing the map up close or the galios perspective
Shok you are legit a glass of water in a LoL content desert. Thank you for all the work you put into these videos and your dedication to teach us shitters the correct ways to approach the midlane. You definitely earned my sub.
Love this series, don't get the complaints about smurf content, not only is it a great way for players like myself to learn about all the mistakes that go on in silver, but it's also entertaining to watch, and helps the players in your games learn a thing or two
It's not very fun to lose to a smurf, as you'd have much less chance to win, but I think it's worth it when providing this level of educational content.
A lot of people complain about smurfs even in games where there are none. It can be hard for people to tell the difference, especially in low elo.
You dont lose in silver because you dont play like shok. You lose because you make the most basic mistakes possible. And shoks opponents dont learn a single thing from this because the gap is too big, they play a whole other game. It just ruins their experience and makes them feel hopeless
why are people saying that educational smurf content is better than educational high elo content?
It usually is a lot harder to make educational content in higher Elo as the content creator has to focus on winning and playing well and thus can't really focus on teaching and explaining what's going on@@cetofox
@@cetofox At least in my experience, a lot of low ELO games are very chaotic with people doing random dumb things, which goes for both teams.
In higher elo you can expect more synergy and teamwork for both teams. So for example we know that ADC should go mid after laning phase but that doesn't always happen in low elo. We might know what the correct play is for the team, but if everyone starts doing random things then suddenly a lot of "this is how the team should play" can go out the window.
So low elo becomes more relatable for those of us in low elo and it shows us how to punish mistakes we see in our games but might not see in a high elo game. So we want to get to high elo, but learning how to punish mistakes in low elo is more valuable to know until we can get there.
I was just watching your game on ahri for the low elo series! Nice
Honestly suprised you don’t have more subs or views, this content helped me climb to emerald where I’m currently stuck. Keep up the good work.
Great example of snowballing a winning matchup! Love these vids as always Mr BCS. Future vid ideas for the series would be seeing you counterpick yourself and have a tougher earlier game since many of us scrubs don't have your champ pool to counterpick ourselves and often end up in bad matchups! Keep up the good work xo
Counterpicking myself is a good idea actually, I'll try get a game of that at some point
Loved the edits! Especially the galio pov during the kill in lane!
Great series, love the editing and zoom into the minimap at times. Super satisfying to watch you get fed in these games with ease
Great work Shok! i was looking so long for a guide like that for midlane but couldn't find one, usually there is something for top and jungle :D hope you keep up the series and one day add something about how to win in low/high diamond :D
Not going to lie, probably the most informative and well done video I've ever watched. I watch everything you put out, but your explanations and constant 1-step ahead breakdowns were top notch. Well done!
Appreciate it
I like how informative this game is, but I'd like to see more int picks for the unranked series like akooli or qiyaya
Shock this is the most informative content for lolo i have ever seen. Thank you so much!
perfect lesson in perfect champ :) love it, more games on jayce please
Love this series! I always learn from these videos
great video again! keeping my fingers crossed for the akali gameplay to come
Thank you for all your videos, you are helping me so much man.
Good vid and the editing with zoom on minimap is very nice when you watch on a phone. I hope you get a bad matchup vid too (or in road to rank 1) because this is where most of us struggle!
Love this new series!
I think you should do an a sol game it really fits your play style love the content !
love the jayce videos bro
I'd love to see what you do against low elo insane filthy Yasuos! What to pick, how to deal with their unrelenting aggression without you getting jg help, etc... Oh and Zed too. Those two are the bane of my existance and I can only ban 1 of them xD
Yasuo you mainly counter with wave control, try keep the wave close to your tower cause he's really strong 1v1 but not that great at using prio and has a hard time avoiding ganks. Good picks vs Yasuo are Akali, LeBlanc, Azir all kinda hard to play. Something easier you could try is Panth/Vex/Garen/Renekton/Annie
@@ShokLeague ohhh nice! Thank you for the advice 🥰
This is great Shok
I have no questions, Sensei, just keep the content coming.
I’d love to see a heimer game!
Keep it up coach 💪
Great video! Can you show how to carry with Ahri please? I'd love to see how you play her in lower elo, especially the skirmishes
my bad I didn't see it was actualmy the second video of the serie and the first one is on Ahri
Maybe on Syndra or any immobile mage then?
Yea I'll get some
Love the content man. Rookie is my daddy is a great Smurf name lol
I love ur videos bro
Can we get a Syndra or TF game? Love this format!!
Yessir
When do you slow push aside from when you are trying to fight them, zone, deny cs? Do you make them lose more minions by fast pushing immediately if they half committ to a roam? or shouldn't you slow push and then fast push once you see they're fully committing? What do you do if you get early kills and the wave is in a really bad spot? I'm not sure if tempo or crashing the wave is more important in those situations ever since they changed death timers. it feels really bad to get kills sometimes ironically.
Pretty much exactly what you said, just slow push to deny as much CS as you can on the way in. If you do get early kills and the wave is in a bad spot you have to decide if it's worth the risk to try crash the wave before resetting, if you can get away with it without dying you probably should.
How to snowball games in low elo: be shok
Jayce is one of the best fun champs to one trick
yasuo!!!!! show us the power farm side laning
At least, for the first wave, instead of standing diagonally to Galio, would it be better to stand on the same side as Galio so that there are no minions in between and punish him with Q immediately?
I could be wrong but you would be playing to the same side as nocturne. He knew noct was bot side due to the leash so diagonal positioning allows you to punish and be safe from the gank
Could probably swap sides and pressure a litttle harder but he'll likely mirror the movement as well and I don't want to end up on nocturnes side
i think its bad idea to play this champions becuase jayce win rate is under 50 % to diamond II with 80 000 matches for a reason i think low elo player cannot be focused on fundementals and play champion like jayce who do not scale into late game and we all know in low elo macro doesent exist so games are 30+ minutes when team 1 doesent outscale team 2 xd i set this video for later this is must to watch thanks for episode 2 shok ! all the best content !
I was just using Jayce as an example to show sidelane fundamentals, the champ isn't too important imo
Day 3 of asking shok to play AP kogmaw mid (how to play off meta picks in high elo)
