Long trips to navigate around by going through maze with passcodes needed is a pain to just from one area to another. The rest is great. I hate that passage.
If you can patch a file download the Aeon Genisis translation, if your saves are in the emulator you can patch the file and keep playing from last save
I have only discovered smt within about a year starting with persona5 and I've fallen in love with the series. I dont have them so this and your other rpgs told long videos have been great to the story . Nice job and cant wait for part 2 thank you :)
I got into it after hearing the batshit insane soundtrack of Nocturne and the "Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry Series" meme. Then I found out about the insanity that is original Megami Tensei and the novel trilogy that it was an adaptation of.

I watched this in late 2020/early 2021 *right* before Marsh SMT started doing long playthroughs of old ass games like Digital Devil Story, Devil Summoner (PSP), and SMT1. I was looking for SMT2 shit to watch, and I came across this again! The style and tone of yours is way different from Marsh's, but holy crap - yall manage to evoke the same feeling out of me regardless: like I'm listening to a fellow weeb talk about a JRPG in real time with all the memes that come with it. Hey Firescale, not sure if you're aware, but I couldn't find a single playthrough of SMT2 for the Law route. Everyone's either Neutral, or Chaos for this game. As far as i'm concerned, you've just made SMT history.
That's funny considering 4 Apocalypse's DLC heavily implies Law SMT2 is canon. They cover all the alignments with the past heroes in that DLC, the SMT1 Hero being Neutral, Aleph being Law, Demi-Fiend being (obviously) Chaos and Flynn being undecided.
@@BigKlingy This maybe late, but I believe Diamond Realm Flynn was partway through the Neutral route before getting sent to the DLC, while SMT1 MC was still undecided (died when the bombs hit).
Aleph made god so mad he’s now Hijiri… and somehow y’all think he’s law… satan could judge god, kill him, unlike Lucifer who could barely rebel… chaos is the only option that makes sense for the way his story continued… in the next game
I watched both parts, and they were so dang funny and cool that I'll be showing it to my friend who's coming over this weekend. Yep, twice over three days. Damn was this fun!

Ah, SMT. You never fail to be weird in the most awesome ways. In this game alone (spoilers. I'm basically spoiling both parts of Firescale's video so watch him instead of reading this) it's the second coming of Jesus and a reincarnation of his mother Mary, as well as Satan and the Devil (they're separate characters now) opposing not just the Pharisees as last time, but the angels of Heaven. And did I mention that it's a cyberpunk future? *And* despite being cyberpunk sci-fi, the "second coming of Jesus" part is NOT a metaphor. It's *literally* Cyberpunk Jesus. And that's just scratching the surface...
Satan and Lucifer are always separate, Lucifer was Lucifer, the fallen, Satan means Adversary, and at best for your interpretation there was a Satan before lucifer took the name, being Sameal, probably the Satan we have in this game, especially with the Serpent tail, to further this in the book of Job, Lucifer and Satan both argued with god and each other over testing Job how god did
@@TARINunit9 I never accused your idea of popping out of nowhere, I made a decoration and then realized where I may be partially mistaken to say Lucifer was never satan, but there definitely is a distinction between Lucifer and Satan in Job, one that isn’t there In later versions, most Christian I’ve spoken to have said it likely means Lucifer either was Satan the whole time as you say, and was appealing to god as both his best and worst self, or that there was a Satan before Lucifer, potentially the Hebrew interpretation of a Judge and nothing more, and that Lucifer is a more chaotic and rebellious Satan then Sameal was, either way what I’m saying is that it could come down to either of our views on the situation, so it isn’t even a matter of agree to disagree we just believe the two most likely ways to interpret the situation regarding Satan
As an Israeli, I always loved that the Character names in this particular SMT Game were the names of the letters in the Hebrew alphabet, namely א,ב,ג,ד,ז... (Most likely due to Hebrew's obvious links to Judaism) This was an incredibly entertaining and well made video and I will absolutely binge all of the videos in this series now! Keep up the truly brilliant content 👍
