My name is Kellen Donelson from the great school high above the Appomattox known as Virginia State University..also reppin the great VSU Concert Choir and Gospel Chorale. And all I gota say is: I LOVE IT!!!! There's nothing like a black college choir....doing what we do best: Praise God!! Fam at Oakwood, Thanks for posting this...really blessed me today!!
AWESOME SINGING! THE BROTHA IS AN EXCELLENT SINGER! HE FELT WAS HE WAS SINGING! I CAN TELL HE LOVES THE LORD! PRAISE HIS WONDERFUL NAME! GOD BLESS HIM AND THE CHOIR!
The soloist has been singing (harmony) since he was in PreK. At my son's Kindergarten graduation at Oakwood Elementary School, the soloist, in PreK, sang a duet with his mom and he was singing Alto. He and his sister sang together for EVER. Very talented family!
I'll never forget the first time I heard the Morgan State Choir sing this song. I kept looking up and wondering why I couldn't see the sky. It was so beautiful. Like nothing I had ever heard. Still, It is so beautiful.
The poor young girl behind the 'main' singer. Can no one ells see the pain in her eyes? Her face illuminates at times during worship ( she loves the Lord ) BUT her eyes are full of sorrow and loss.
Please do not speak on things you know nothing about. As Carmen Cross said, did you speak to her? If not, do not think the worst. That young beautiful woman looked to me to be moved by the song. Plain and simple.
Beautiful & uplifting singing. Elegant looking group. Next time, plz encourage singers in background to have a more pleasant countenance when singing /not singing. Typically, the males look more pleasant. Praise God for his faithfulness, mercies & love. Ps Towards end of soloist performance he incorporated too many distracting riffs, runs & flourish. Some words got lost in the performative/ some off beat riffs runs flourish, et cetera.
That went on too long. The microphone wire became a distraction. The countertenor needed to be solo, then with choir. A little rushed at the end. More technical-led than spirit-led. Currently, can't give it a thumbs up or a thumbs down. Nice job. Glad I came across the video. Check youtube video: Albert Hadley And New Orleans Gospel Soul Children singing If It Had Not Been
Could you send me this misic's lirycs_ Get Away Jordan by Aeolians I'm look for and nobody could give. Please do it for me. I hope you help. God bless you.

I've never seen it happen & We would probably just look at you kinda funny like a "Does he/she know what their doing!?" kinda look, nothing major.
