Friend and Lover - Circus

The flip side to Friend And Lover (Reach Out Of The Darkness fame) final 45 from 1969....most of their material was wimpy orchestrated folk pop, but they nailed the hell out of this self penned song. Any circus themed psych song usually will be good, this is one of the best! Get it while it's still a cheapo 45!

I'm not big on this, I may have to listen to it a few more times. I got to meet Jim Post a few years
after his time with Friend & Lover. He had gone on to become a respected folk singer who had a
dynamite second album. I got to photograph him a few times performing at Chicago's "Earl of Old
Town" and treasure those pics.
