It's been almost a year listening to this and I still think is one of the best rock songs of the decade, what a masterpiece! The sounds are smooth but powerful as well.
It's a pity how 99% of the population is missing songs like these.
The only 'cons' that I can mention is that it should fade out til' the end much longer.

+TheRecfan God, is this what 'music fans' really think these days? Because that's super depressing. That album is complete and utter dog shit due to that synth bullshit. They used to be a hard rock band, now they're nothing. They're an embarrassment.
Subjective. Just because your musical taste differs from someone else doesn't make it dog shit. What you find as dog shit is someone else's paradise.
If a band stood still in their musical abilities they'd be churning out the same stuff for the rest of their careers. It works for some but not for others. I find bands who are willing to introduce new ideas to their musical progress/advancement as a good thing. Whether it is synths or not. Fightstar are not one of those bands who categorises themselves like what you are doing. If you asked them if they were a hard rock band, they would tell you no.
So unique. This is what music is suppose to be.

Out of the 3 songs they've revealed from the album so far this is the best, my new favourite. It's a really beautiful melody and I love the atmospheric synths and the fading outro gave me chills. Absolutely superb work from Britain and the world's most under appreciated band. Role on Friday 👊👊👊👊👊

I think it's pretty rad Chaz reunited with Busted AND wrote one of the best Fightstar albums ever with the guys all in 2015! He was busy leading a double life again!
I can't imagine what this world would sound like without rock music.
I used to regard this as the weakest song on the album but now it's gradually becoming one of my favorites. The end part is so catchy.
I miss them so much.

I discovered this band two years ago and since then this has been one of my favorite songs ever.
fuck, I love the poppy chorus with the interjections of Meshuggah style riffage. at times I feel Fightstar can go between heavy and soft too quickly but on this album they seem to have nailed it.

Honest everytime I hear that last minute of this masterpiece I get goosepimples, also it very much reminds me of an old band I grew up listening to, Asia they were called. If there only a slight nit pick it would be that its about a minute to short, esp the outro but still it's a brilliant song

Don't get me wrong, I like Animals and Snakes but this song (at the moment) sounds the best one from the album. It has so much flavour from Be Human, which I actually loved. Been a Fightstar fan since the beginning, and an even bigger Charlie fan. I also love how Overdrive could actually pass off as a Gunship single. Love the synth in this. Keep it up guys, and come to Colchester or Ipswich soon!
