Looked like some good landings to me!. I have a co-worker who has an ADS-B system set up at his house to watch the local air traffic...just something he says he likes to do. I had a friend who flew small planes back in Ga and he would always ask me if I was busy when he had some air time...of course I am ready to go! Good stuff, Mark!
Yes, it surprises me how easy it is to "land" the airplane after taking time off from flying. It is also easy to forget one of the many items you need to keep track of.
Great lookin Mooney! We'll have to fly in and meet up one of these days when it makes sense, I'm just 20 minutes north of you at KKLS. I'm finishing up the 201 windshield conversion and replacing the side windows so I'll actually be able to see outside. It only takes 2 weeks to get rusty... I just started flying again in '19 after a 15 year hiatus and couldn't be happier with the Mooney.
Looks like you have a huge project with your Mooney. Would be fun to get together sometime. I recently installed new side windows when I replaced my interior. Here is a video showing what I thought would be a quick interior install: ua-cam.com/video/YJIPNpl9xGE/v-deo.html
Hey Mark! Beautiful plane with beautiful interior. I am in the market for a Pre-J Mooney but I haven’t had any first hand experiences with any Mooneys of that vintage. I live right next to KVUO and was wondering if you were willing to show off your plane sometime soon?
I'd be happy to. It is in the middle of its annual but I expect it to be done later this week. Go to my channel, click on the about tab and send me an email.
I think it is easier to get back into flying as it is like riding a bike. The hard part is remembering all the little things that are easy to forget like being on the correct frequency, remembering to change fuel tanks or putting the gear down...
Nice vid Mark! Great to see the Mooney again👍

One of the big surprises I got after getting my license is how hard it is to find people to fly with. Could just be my flying though :-)
Great video, Mark! Still waiting on those dirt bike videos, lol.
Yah, don't hold your breath. It is hard to say if I will get a dirt video up this year with the Covid. I generally don't video when I'm riding solo.
I think landing is a lot like riding a bicycle. You may get a little rusty but the rest comes naturally. Love the video. God bless you.

That's what I'm hoping for. Going to spend some time on x plane to save money
Thanks for the great video.
Wish I had a mooney to fly.

I'm still trying to fit flying into my schedule without much luck :-)
Nice video Mark
Thank you
So which is easier to get back into after a long break, flying an airplane or dirt bike riding?
