Jihyo's film reference isn't Twilight or a k-drama, its a Japanese film from 1995 called Love Letter, and was very popular in SK and Japan. In case you wanted a full list of movies they were referencing: 1. Nayeon - Princess Diaries 2. Jeongyeon - Ghost 3. Mina - La Boum 4. Sana - Pulp Fiction 5. Jihyo - Love Letter 6. It's so interesting watching someone discover a group's earlier discography so much later. If we're being honest.....these videos ARE twice at their height of cultural relevance. It's hard to properly describe how HUGE Twice was when they burst on the scene in korea.
Scientist definitely grows on you, espcially after you see their live performances of the US tour. It's a song that is now actually one of my favorites from them.

Honestly twices versatility over the years really have me shook, if i didn’t know twice and i heard knock knock and perfect world i wouldn’t know it was the same group. (Maybe over analysing but their versatility and duality is crazy)
I think some of the songs sound safe because of the production but it’s just that they made it safe like they were so successful doing it that it became like the standard K-pop song like TWICE = K-pop, to me
Idk why but I just assume that everyone knows these songs so im so surprised to see this but im here for it!!
AND YESS I LOVE JEONGYEONS VOICE, I mean... If you heard their latest album you will know what I'm talking about, she sings with passion I always get goodebumps (specially for the chorus for Brave and Gone, her range is so perfect) I love her so much I'm sorry, she is my EVERYTHING
Knock Knock is my favorite twice song. I'm so sad to have discovered them after they 'passed' their cute concept phase

doughnut is one their best tracks the mv is super pretty and the song vocally is beautiful
for me the problem of the songs that jyp produces the harmonies are always so low, i didn't even know that twice's songs had such beautiful harmonies, i started noticing after the album Eyes Wide Open
The production was simple because they had just debuted and videos like that were the trend in K-pop . Music videos weren’t as high scale as they are now

Btw the adlibs in Heart Shaker's last chorus aren't actually any of the twice members but is Yuna from AOA. I think she sang the demo and also worked on the song.
As always, great reaction! You should really give their japanese releases a try!! They are so fricking good and have a bit more mature vibe than their early korean releases. I recommend breakthrough, perfect world, better, kura kura and doughnut!

Mina is usually #3 as far as line distribution after nayeon, jihyo. Thats why she has so many lines. Lol. She's an Awesome Vocalist. Technically she's the Main Dancer. But in my opinion she should be Main Vocal too.

Well jeongyeon is a lead vocalist like nayeon, and they supposed to be the 2 best singer after jihyo aka the main vocalist, but the huge different treatment between the two is what make people sleep on jeongyeon!

Twice is actually the best , They are a group that even on their 8th year, they maintain so humble and very kind. The 9 girls treat each member as a family and they love each other so much. For real im remebering them promoting themselves to dunkin donuts,schools and streets just to show some people they’re music but now look at them🥹🤧 they’re actually the best and yet they’re so humble❤
