I've been a T10-11 Para for 37 years and I have done some transfers over the years that I can't fathom now! I have a Gravely ZTR, same concept. I made a template from cardboard that starts at about the brown part your seat sits on and comes up to the front where you got on. Then I duplicated from 3/16 plate, made brackets and welded and bolted on. I did it in a way I only have to remove one bolt if I need to take it off. I get on higher from the start then slid back to the seat, so I don't have to lift as far or as high. I had a piece of pipe I formed and welded to my deck lift so that's pretty easy. I can't do extreme transfers anymore; my shoulders are toast being 6'2" and weighing 240. I used to get in and out of F 350s with 35s on them and in and out of the water on my pontoon boats. I just bought a 25 hp 4 wheel drive tractor with loader and I think I an going to buy a toilet sling and use the 2 ton hoist in my shop to get on that.
I needed to watch this this morning thank you so much for the inspiration. I’m going to follow you to learn more if you share as these are strategies for my mom who is battling with ALS affecting lower extremities 💓
You had some backside skin showing there brother 😅. I always check mine, always self conscious of that. I'm going to try that transfer to my Dad's ol John Deere Zero Turn. Sure would be nice to gain that independence like you said.
I bet, so what do you do if you wipe out? Thats my biggest problem is not knowing how to get back in my dang chair!!!!! and i HATE making that "help ive fallen and i cant get up call to my buddies"
That's awesome. I'm T1 complete for nearly 3 months now. Bought a new gravely 2 weeks before the injury and your video helped me to get mowing today.
That’s awesome man!

Is there any way that you could do a transfer to a tractor? I’m T-10 complete. Thanks for the great instructional videos!

I usually find somthing to pull myself back up in my chair, I do have a lot of upper body strength that helps
