A Dog of Flanders, My Patrasche (Flanders no Inu, Boku no Patrasche / ぼくのパトラッシュ / フランダースの犬 ぼくのパトラッシュ )
This classic children's story which takes place on the outskirts of Antwerp is a bittersweet tale about a young boy named Nello, his dear old grandfather Jehan, and their dog Patrasche whom they had rescued from the ravages and torment of his previous owners.
Nello is kind and sensitive boy who shows a gret appreciation for art and who is a self-taught artist with dreams of someday becoming a famous artist himself.
For Jehan, his only grandson means everything in the world to him. Being a caring and understanding man, his only wish is to see Nello lead a happy and healthy life.
Patrasche, who is forever grateful of being taken in by his new found friends, expresses his loyalty and constant devotion to these two kind and generous souls. Patrasche even helps with the pulling of the pushcart of milk, which is their only means of earning a living.
Although being quite poor and improverished, Nello, Jehan, and Patrasche are strong in spirit and rich in the love that they have for one another. It is this bonding which enables them to cope with the harsh realities of their lives and helps them overcome their everyday struggle to survive.

ナレーションは吉永小百合さんですよね．こんなすばらしいアニメがあったんですね．1992年と言えば，世の中はバブルの最中で，物が溢れて，お金一筋の時代でした．このアニメはあまり人気がなかったそうですが，時代が悪かったんですかね．今の時代だからこそ，見られるべき作品だと思います．世代を問わず，見て欲しいです．
