Have you tried drifting or doing a burnt out? I did the same manual swap on my friends auto laurel and when we try drifting it cuts off like of it was traction control kicking in, it limits me to 1k rpms after 3 seconds of drifting

i have and it doesn't do that to me ,there is a wire by the fuse box you have to loop
