@@cartazfuller1338 Too much REVERB is what's causing the echo in their microphones. GAIN is just an audio term for VOLUME. If you've ever looked at a mixer or sound board at a church or live event more than likely two of the controls will labelled with these terms. With the current settings of their microphones the quality of their voices don't match the quality of the sound track (music). Now, this could have been the sound they were going for but when it comes to REVERB less is more, meaning you never want to turn that up too high because it will sound like you're in a huge empty room. An experienced sound man could correct this by adjusting those two audio settings. In most cases the goal to "micing off" 🎤 live singers is to get the sound quality as close to "studio quality" as possible. Hope that answers your question.👍🏽
