yeah to echo what some said about missing "straight edge hardcore", you could also add in the same vein "youthcrew" like champion and "posicore" like good clean fun
Great compilation, missed Straight Edge Hardcore ás it was played by bands like Unbroken, Chokehold, Strain, Earth Crisis, Undertow, Culture, Morning Again, Canon and so on. But this can be also put like Disembodied and bands like Deadguy and Botch in Old Metalcore. Also Political Hardcore is missing like Groundwork or Born Against but Hardcore was mostly political. So very good job done!
Ska Punk is Punk Rock with Ska, then there is Skacore which is Ska with Hardcore Punk, while Crack rock stedy would be more aggressive Skacore influenced by Crust Punk.

so i need help finding music.. I've been looking for something like if Joji did a song with old school BMTH. like of Nirvana wrote Nevermind in 2023. like lofi or SoundCloud rap but with nasty metalcore breakdowns. like if Hybrid Theory were a collab between JuiceWRLD and Beartooth. I like 5th wave emo but its not heavy and crunchy enough. basically I need Punk goes Pop 11 any suggestions????

Yes, I considered those that are born from Hardcore itself, or have a lot of connection with it, as is the case with fusions. Others I did not take into account because they are subgenres of subgenres.
Ah. Hardcore punk is the genre that gives birth to “emo”. It’s kinda funny how a bunch of hardcore punk bands from Washington D.C who have developed a style that morphs into something that is so melodic, and sentimental. Oh, the irony. 😆
that was one very weird long song
No kidding, I' was watching this video in my friend's place and he thought, that I' was listening one, long, weird, avant-garde punk song 😂
That’s unfortunate that they sound so similar :/

For real, pop punk should be here
Easy core should be In there too.
Pop punk was born out of hardcore bands =/= pop punk is hardcore.
Ummm…..nope. Not really, because pop punk was already its own genre that was a hybrid of 2 genres. So, therefore, it didn’t come from hardcore punk.
this person probably thinks that the ramones are pop punk so probably not

modern hardcore punk and it's bands that popped off 20 years ago LFG
straight edge also is a genre
idk if this counts cuz it's more goth but i would also put Deathrock

beatdown's prolly my favourite tbh
