The employees sell it out the back door to consignment store owners where I live and then the other goes to their online store..Goodwill is not a good place to go anymore.
I've also heard that items will go to the distribution centers and then distributed out to the locations so, just because it's in a "richer" area the items may not stay in that area.

I believe this to be true... goodwill isn't what it used to be, they also have auctions or the ones in Texas do
