Impressed you got it out this fast! As a Tufts Student, I made sure to get on that very first train yesterday, and I went all the way to Heath Street and back
Impressive and what the E Branch does is actually link two universities within the same line you're actually have Northeastern University towards the Heath Street section then the terminal being Tufts University. for the section towards Northeastern University from Lechmere you would still have the Frank Ogelsby announcement unless replaced.
Yeah I was also hoping that they maintain Frank's announcements at least for the older section, but the sad truth is, they seem to be replacing the entire line with the auto voice, especially the Type-8s. But indeed, it is an absolute good thing that the E connects up Northeastern and Tufts
@@kevinhld5499 Sad news and for Frank, he says Approaching Symphony Next stop Northeastern University that was when the E branch Ran to Union Square over the Summer
I like how you include little factoids along the non-surface portions that folks who aren't from the area wouldn't have noticed themselves. Makes me wanna visit just to explore the surrounding neighborhoods. Also, the music slaps 👍
I got to see some of the original design plans and elevations for the GLX and I understood why it was so overbudget. However that is not what they ended up building. For instance, Lechmere Station (as were all of the stations) were to be this grand glass edifice,. What they built at Lechmere was a newer looking version of Boston's old Central Artery. A shame, but at least the connectivity is a reality.

Fantastic video and fabulous sound track! 🤩 In short, fantabulous, man!
Great video! I have watched it three times. As a Ball Sq resident, I watched this new branch from ground to finish. Now I feel ever closer to Boston.
I live in Somerville and I am so exited to ride the new branch! Also I love the Editing, looks awesome.
I used to live there cool place I live in new hampshire because people are a pain in the ass
Hey, I recognize a few people at Ball Square!
EXELLENT VIDEO. DO OTHER LINES LIKE THIS.
We will never forget Frank Ogelsby
Best transit voice of all time! In the US, it goes Boston, Chicago and NYC!

What!? 😨 No Frank Ogelsby??? 😰 Nooooooooo 😭😭😭😭😭
I am having the exact same feeling
nice
I might’ve been on the same train lol
I thought they where going to turn the old lechmere station into a paintball arena.
If you go to Washington camp you do the silver line
Sure, if I got a chance to go there lol
Can you do videos on Miami?
Who misses Frank Ogelsby’s voice??? I do!!!
How did you get the clean announcer audio?
I recorded them with my phone next to the speakers on a train
@@kevinhld5499 oh wow they sound so good 😂
The E doesn't go to Cleveland it does go to heath street
The green line should be heavy rail. It’s a shame that it’s still just as slow and unreliable as ever.
