It keeps the laptop not too hot. One the last thing I’ll mention, the laptop has amazing thermals. It has never thermal throttled or overheated. Hi! Can you suggest which laptop to go with? Asus G14 2022 (Ryzen 9 6900HS + 6800S) or the Lenovo Legion 5 Slim (Ryzen 7 7840HS + RTX 4060)? I'd love to take the asus, but is the heat issue so serious? I love to play games such as Valorant and Watch Dogs and games like COD. Also I work on other tasks like running other VMs... Which one would you suggest me to take?
I had both. They are quite different. Benefits of each: Legion: bigger chassis, so it runs much cooler. You are able to run the 4060 at lower wattage and it will still perform very well (meaning less noise and heat). The cpu on the legion is the best cpu of 2023 in my opinion. The ram is upgradeable with two sticks. It also has dual nvme slots. The screen is way bigger and it has a better keyboard. Asus: it’s smaller. The amd 6800s should perform somewhat similar to the 4060 but will need more heat and watts to get there. In short if portability and size is king, the g14 is still a very compelling option. I like the g14 quite a bit. But if you are okay with 16”, the legion sweeps

(Prices are pretty much the same, so doesn’t matter there for me) ☺️
@@NathalieWinchester prices the same, get the slim 7. It’s very premium. The difference between 4060 and 4070 is negligible, but the quality boost of 5 to 7 is considerable

Bro showed everything in msi afterburner except cpu temps but using Hinfo or whatever its name to see how much temps and wattage is the cpu , like WTF?
Msi afterburner doesn’t have the 7840hs. It’s a brand new cpu that wasn’t recognized, or the sensors.
Sometimes afterburner doesn’t allow for monitoring of many parts of a system component. FYI.
Hence showing it in hwinfo
Those fans wtf
Avoid this laptop as i had order one and only had issue with it, crackling noise, whisteling, slow boot time, fans randomly start in sleep mode and more 😂
I send it back and i m looking at other laptops atm.
Please do valorent gameplay 😊
