Wolfram and Yuuri`s characters were shit on in the anime(ESPECIALLY WOLFRAM!!!). Yuuri is basically obsessed with how beautiful wolfram is in the LN. Seriously I feel like every chapter Yuuri narrates about Wolf`s beautiful deep lake eyes and angelic looks as if he was god`s favorite creation (basically quoted from the LN). The anime for some reason took out all of the Yuuram moments from the LN. Seriously the only good one they left in is when Yuuri almost fell down the cliff and Wolf caught him. Also Yuuri and Wolfram are super close in the LN, and they trust one another a lot. I would even say that Wolf handles Yuuri better than Conrad and Wolf calms Yuuri down more too (Yuuri has a temper problem in the LN. He is known to hit walls and mess up a room when he is angry). Also Wolf`s love is not as one sided as in the anime
Oh okay, sorry! Though, you are right the anime snubbed their relationship. :( Btw I wish I owned the light novels. Do you have them in English (I didn't think an official translation was ever published) or Japanese?
Don't you think Elizabeth looks a lot much older than Wolf? She must be 80-something as well but in 'normal' years she appears to be like 25 and Wolf seems to be the same age than Yuuri (15-17) Aaaanyway, i love too much how Wolf interfers with the duel to protect his king

Wolfram may be girly looking, tsundere brat but is straightforward with his feelings and caring for Yuuri and tries to protect him with all his power. But the original author wants them to be ‘equal’ so the uke seme talk is not necessary ig
But Yuuri didn't ask to get engaged with Wolfram. He made it clear earlier, it was Wolfram who kept pushing it (No hate though, cause I am def a Yuuram shipper. Jnrequited love is like, one of my fave trope haha)
