yo just started watching you, i’ve been studying and learning to start a clothing brand for over a year now and im within months of staring it. i watch a lot of caprice who only really shows the success part of things, i love you you go in depth and go through all the steps or things you might face when starting a clothing brand. you really are one of the best people to study for anybody coming into the industry. not if my brand works out but WHEN it does, when people ask me how i was so successful with it i’ll tell them to go watch you bro. keep doing your thing homie💯🙌

Holy cow I’m legit not tryna go shitting on anyone, but this video and a bunch others I been watching has made me realize how much of a disadvantage y’all Americans as at when it comes to starting a business in general😂😅
I’m from Malaysia and I’ve got my inventory of 5 different types of products : (some manufactured locally, others in China or a similar country), then I print locally at a place near my home, and I’ve integrated my Shopify with a local app that is used by so many to upload courier rates and services, arrange courier pickup/drop off services of your inventory when orders come in, etc.
I promise I’m not bragging. I’m just pointing out that I’ve assess my entire process flow, tryna find all the problems and issues these videos are warning me about, and half of them are not even touching me. 🤯
I came to this conclusion after realising that specific conveniences we have are not at all available in the US.
Crazy shit tbh. 🤔
Oh and I forgot to mention payments I also use a Malaysian app to allow all payment methods form literally any country. That’s the other crazy discovery I encountered

I feel like if brands had better customer service it would help them so much. I answer every comment and dm, and obvs I’m not a massive brand but ima keep doing that even when it’s up. I never understand when brands are rude with the fans or ignore them.

high value video!!! but one question... if I decide for pre-order, should I order the bulk when I see how many people pre-ordered, or should I order the bulk based on how much hype my brand gets?
pre order means once you pre order ends you can order the same quantity with sizes else if you want to do pre made then you can start with bulk order without pre order method.

@@snackguard yes as a manufacturer lots of my customers doing the pre order whereas some are doing pre made as well, as pre-made is more faster than the pre order and end users can get their products more quickly.

Thanks man just happy I can help yall! So pay them through Alibaba and use China. Use money from your job or out source stream of income. That way you can build the brand the first 12 months properly

In addition to this, building that relationship with the manufacturer is great. Whether its bringing them other customers who are liquid with funds to spend, or just building the relationship,being transparent, paying in pieces, setting terms that benefit them and keep you accountable. I ended up building my brands message for the first year while making connections and stacking bread for my manufacturer . These things help with being able to build the trust. My manufacturer now allows me to start production before spending any money up front. They usually ship to me and then I’m taking in sales from friends and family to fill the orders that are in production/in route. It’s worked this last drop I did. But struggling with clearing a few 2x and 3x; sold out s-xl , 4x and 5x. But I built my relationship with my manufacturer over the last 5 years since 2019 and have had 3 of my friends spend money with them. In fact, one of my homies fell behind on a payment and I cleared his balance for him out of strength of love because the manufacturer said they wanted to keep the business, just wanted communication. Me stepping in to clear that balance also built rapport to where they really can trust me and the relationship is long term, not short term. Tez really killing this ish, I’m learning so much from him from a different lens. I hope this feedback helps. Best of luck! Just shipped some product out to London, loveeeee the UK 🇬🇧

I order a bulk order and my stuff want even in the packaging it had stains all over it and he didn’t make the make the bottom of my pants right he just cut it and sent it to me🤦🏾♂️ just waisted all that money on inventory I can’t move cuz it’s messed up
