I just purchased valentino uomo strictly off 1 of your past reviews. Great pick up. Also to keep it 100, copped a couple pair of becket siminons, upgraded my jeans, got a couple of trucker jackets and got some koio's on my radar all from your videos. Plus body washes & probably some other stuff i cant remember right now.
Yes I love Creed Aventus, it is my go to when I go on dates. I will add some other Creed fragrances in the near future.

I really enjoy Aventus but I've been over using the scent and now I'm suffering with olfactory fatigue. Giving it a break for as long as possible. My suggestion use it only for special occasions.
Creed Aventus is now in its 11th year since its release. Many other great fragrances have come and gone since then and the hype of Aventus hasn’t dropped off either. That says a lot.

Naturals ingredients can change a little faster over time than synthetics. I think the improvement you’re experiencing as it ages is oxygen being introduced into the bottle. Many fragrances get better with some oxygen and time.

Yes OG, Aventus is levels, just spraying it I get gassed. What I like though is the compliments you get people always say how good you smell. Now here in the U.K it's not cheap but it's worth it. Even when you wash garments that have had contact with it you still smell it when ironing. You only need a little too and it goes a long way.
My all time favorite. I remember the first time Ineven heatd of it I was just passing through Neiman Marcus window shopping, when one of the workers had smell it....I bought it that same day. No regrets.

I bought Aventus for myself for Christmas a few years back. I love this frag. Yeah it’s expensive, yes it’s hyped, and yes it’s hated on because of its success. I wear it on special occasions like when I want to feel great! I agree with you Jeff, it’s a modern masterpiece. Salute my brother!!

Aventus is not hated on because of its success. Aventus is hated on because of its price point. It is over priced.
Fragrance is subjective and I think Aventus is good, but it isn't my favorite versatile fragrance. Like at this time of the year (winter) I prefer dark boozy, tobacco, chocolate (cacao) and coffee fragrances like Side Effect Initio, Black Phantom By Killian, Armani Code Absolu, and Herrod PDM to name a few. You are correct about the maturation period of Aventus (as well as other fragrances). It most often smells much better the older it gets. Thanks for the review I always like to see what others think. Try Mont Blanc Explorer,it's the next best alternative to Aventus at only $50 from discounters like FragranceX. May not last 12hrs.like the Creed,but you will get a solid 8hrs.

Creed Irish Tweed smells great too. Always get compliments when I wear it.
Creed Irish Tweed gets compared to Cool Water, and may be a boring scent to a lot of folks even though it is a classic.

Style OG was wondering what you think of replicating oils like oil perfumery I’ve tried a couple and I like them just not that much projection.
Style OG, Great review on Creed Aventus. It’s not my # 1 but it’s in heavy rotation. The price is King not sure about this fragrance . But when you are wearing this fragrance people notice!!! 👍🏾
I had to talk myself into spending the money for this purchase but it’s one I have zero regrets about. It’s not my everyday cologne. I wear it like I would my favorite watch. And yes people are going to comment on it. Lol. You will get someone asking or complimenting you about what your wearing. Every time.
Notice that the (New) Rounded cap, 3.3 vs (Old) Square caps, 4.0; A definite difference in volume and longevity. What do you think?

I love Creed Aventus! You assessed it well and I think it is very appealing to most people. People either like a or love it. I had to try it because everyone seems to talk about it. A+ on their marketing campaign and it is an initial cost but will last. I still need to try the Creed Aventus cologne.
Triple OG, I have to agree with you that this fragrance is VERY EXPENSIVE. This is why they call you just that, the "Style Og " Will be coping this one this weekend no questions asked!!
I bought a bottle in 2013. Wear it on special occassions. I have read on basenotes that more recent versions aren't as strong.

Have you tried any of the Tom Ford fragrances? I recently got gifted a bottle of Tom Ford Bitter Peach and I like it but would have preferred Aventus especially considering it is about the same price.

I just brought this for my fiancé this is one of the best ever he has Tom Ford Vanille Fatale it smell good but Creed is a 10000000 when I say he can only wear it when we together because it will definitely get him attention lol because I have a sample on a piece of paper and smell it every day the longer it set the better the smell ❤️

I keep hearing i should buy this scent as an amateur fragrance collector, but that makes me want run to something that everyone is not running to, even if it is in the Creed house...To be honest, have tested it and i wasn't particularly blown away, however I did like the dry-down but it is an okay Fragrance to me...I have to say i dont care about compliments, if i get them, fine, but that is not my main goal. If i like the scent? I am rocking it.

Yes yes… I must confess, I didn’t have enough money at the time to pick this one up so I decided to go with a cheaper clone in armoff’s Clone attempt of the obvious quote king of Men’s fragrances in Creed Aventus and it has a similar affect in that being I got it And immediately sprayed it on and wasn’t honestly satisfied with how it smelt but it’s been about half a year since I’ve had it and I’m not sure what it is but it has definitely been refined to a certain extent and I’m now quite pleased with how it smells…?
Go buy Armaf Limited Edition Parfum for about 60$ if you want best version of it

I like the fact that it’s expensive. People who aren’t really willing to invest in themselves will never own it, therefore you never really have to worry about it getting played out. You’ll always stand out if you have creed.

@@Killing4food I own both. You can't really beat the original in terms of quality but truthfully on the dry down both smell very very similar to those around you. There is definitely a place for Armaf imo (I own several bottles and decants of Aventus btw)
@@Killing4food Yeah, CDNIM is the best clone of Aventus in my opinion. It gets me loads of compliments too. But there is just something about Aventus which can’t be replicated. Armaf is really good though.

I love my Aventus. My only issue is my older batches from 16 and beyond start to smell like pencil shavings. They are legit not fake, but just smell weird now. My 17 and more recent batches smell just fine.

As I understand it, the quality and longevity dropped off a bit once they went corporate a few years back. Is the batch this year better?
It's truly awful. The pineapple and floral notes are missing, what you're left with are the moss notes. May leave you smelling like mildew.
Inconsistent the last 2 years but it’s still a must have. Initio and PDM are my real compliment getters. I wear my Creed to bed nowadays lol. Also you hit it on the head, wait about 4 months before wearing new year batches!
Why you gotta wait a bit to get a new batch, is it to dow with maturity?

@@palmer911 thanks, I didn't know that. So keeping it in a cool, dark place helps and how long roughly till it starts to smell very good, 6 months or more?
@@sheikhsodar5875 personal use and via some cologne forums over the years, 4-8 months but it's very batch dependent nowadays imo. 4-6 months should be perfect where you'll get a long lasting scent on your body & the smell you were expecting from Aventus

I left an empty bowl of what once was pineapple slices in my room. And that weeks cologne of choice was Paco Rabanne Invictus. So long story short, I would come home to the Invictus still lingering in the air from when I had sprayed it earlier, mixed with the aroma from the pineapple juice still left in the bowl. Let’s just say, as unsanitary as it is, I may or may not have let that bowl sit around in my room an extra week, just to be able to come home and have the blended aromas bless my nose. Come to find out, the smell of pineapple is very saturating! And the way it blended in the air with the Invictus cologne was love! I wish I could’ve bottled it, I promise I would’ve wore that everyday!!

Over the years, Aventus has received the most compliments of my collection. It's worth the hype and the price. It won't let you down.
It's been my favorite up until recently....Tuscan Leather is my new favorite.
It's worth the hype because it's an amazing frag for sure, but it's definitely not worth that kind of price.
@@zsb707 I'd disagree, although I would rather pay less haha. For my skin, definitely better than 99% of the fragrances I could buy at 100 dollars or less and a step above most fragrances at 200 with regard to smell and compliment getting.
The ingredients are a cut above what you find in most fragrances at lower price points. Those drive the price quite a bit.
There is a luxury tax, and a commission tax, but I don't know how much those are. I do know that the ingredients cost a bit more than your average fragrance.

Tuscan Leather is pretty amazing too. I love the raspberry note…so unique. It smells so fresh, clean, yet rugged and exotic…a truly classy fragrance. And the berry notes add a little creaminess to it in the freshest way.

The creed that I have is strongly smoky and woodsy . But the creed Aventus cologne is the BEST smelling…
I just bought my first bottle of this and is it worth $300 more than Dior Sauvage or Chanel Bleu? No it's not in my opinion but good luck to Creed for being able to get away with charging people so much money for a bottle of after shave.

Same here. I have 200 plus bottles in my collection, and Aventus has given me 2 compliments in all its history with me, no Club de Nuit Intense, always gets me at least 2 to 3 compliments every time!
Club De Nuit Intense smells identical to Aventus.
Yeh, I believe you. Aventus is a more mature scent and appreciated by 30+, richer audience. Young girls are not particularly into it, first of all because of lack of experience with expensive scents.
