I love this song. It is a perfect reminder of the person who I use to be. And she is still in there. But the reality of the world is keeping it away. It is so hard to trust people in the world to let your true self be seen . Through all the suffering and belittlement by others makes it hard to keep the real me out. Wearing your heart on your sleeve is a blessing and curse. You have so much to give and care so much, but the slightest negativity shuts you down. But your too terrified to let people in becuase of it. Having friends and family better yourself and make your true self re emerge. And it's liberating... when life is hard I will continue to listen to lift myself up and keep my true self alive.
