I never feel burnt out with my spiritual connection and my connection to nature, its a salve and a tonic But I get burnt out with life generally sometimes lol.. I'm 55 and am really trying to embrace my crone years.

I completely agree and understand what you're saying. Because it is something that I have never experienced before either. Burnout , I think is just another way of saying out of balance and maybe reconsidering how you are approaching your faith and practice.

You speak with such wisdom, Trish. I am your age and I also feel the lack of crone content on youtube. Nature, life, family, it's all witchcraft. Witches experience it all. Magic is in everything. Thank you for taking us on your walk. I love seeing where you live. Here we are in summer and the humidity and heat have been oppressive this year. But the wheel is turning so it will be autumn before I know it.
Thank you so much for the compliment. I agree with every word about magic. It is in everything. Autumn is so wonderful. Last summer was like that for me. It gets very humid here in Minnesota. We hit many heat records last year. Kind of scary, as is this winter. My lilacs are starting to bud. They are confused. I know we will get freezing temps yet and I worry about the trees and the fires this summer, because of the dryness of this winter. It will be interesting for sure. Thanks for coming on my walk!

Thank you! I just finished it. It is actually a redo of an old 1970's piece of art. The colors were awful in red orange and mustard yellow. Great for 1970, but not so much for a grey room. Thank you for watching my vlogs. Saturn return in June. My favorite month.

I couldn't wait to turn 50 last year...and officially embrace my crone! I have been enjoying being older. I definitely feel different in a good way. Yeah, I too feel physical pain, but it's a pain I've dealt with most of my life, but I just keep on going. Thank you for this video, been looking for some crones here. Those are all great channels and really awesome witches. Life begins after 50! I LOVE my 50's. 60 is a big number, but I am a big girl and can handle it! LOL The crone seems to get lost in the shuffle because the newer witches want to absorb so much information and I get it because that was me too when I was new, but at some point they just need to realize it is a way of life and it so simple if they just live it. Thank you for watching my video and commenting. It means a lot.

Thank you for taking us on the walk with you 💖 I loved hearing your perspectives and joy - plus, the sun hasn't shown itself here in a while either. It was nice to see you experience the sunlight! For me, when I feel disconnected, it's more about not having the time to mindfully enjoy the things I want to enjoy. Once I can bring that mindfulness back in, the connection is easily established again. I find people who talk about spiritual or witchcraft burnout are trying to do too much at once and not giving themselves time to just *exist*.
I totally agree. Mindfulness is everything. People tend to put so much pressure on themselves to have the perfect looking practice instead of just enjoying the beauty in the simplicity of this magical life. I like calling myself a witch with a small ‘w’. I turned 60 last year. For a few reasons I have taken down my content and changed my channel name. Your video is wonderful and I agree with so much of your outlook. Maybe I’ll start making some content again ❤

I have not felt disconnected from my craft in a very long time and i am so grateful, to me this is proof of growth 💜 Also your content is not boring! It gives me warmth to hear the way you are with your craft as you age and it makes me look forward to being that age as well. I wish there were more examples of that too.

That conservatory looks like an incredibly beautiful and peaceful place. 😌
It is so incredibly beautiful. I have been going to that park since I was a small child. All of the park is great but the conservatory is extra special. they change the sunken garden with the changing seasons. Over yule and Christmas it was filled with winter flowers and poinsettias galore.

Lol, I was like, yeah, we haven't had sun for long either... and then yeah, our February has been unusually warm here too. It's our coldest month usually as well. And then you mentioned the conservatory and I saw you walking over the bridge and I realized. Oh, THAT's because we live in the same area. So nice to have a witchy neighbor!!

My 40's were much harder mentally than my 50's. My 40's were like my transition stage and there was going through menopause, of course. I spent my 50's really exploring who I was and it was so empowering. Things might hurt now as my body ages and my life has it's tower moments, but I am truly living my best life, even in the more challenging times. Just go with the flow, Darling. Show yourself compassion when its hard and allow yourself to feel the feels. I look back fondly at myself in those years. I just wanna hug her.

I appreciate the call out to crone channels. I haven't started a channel yet, but I do think about it from time to time, so it could be that I start one. I am age 55. I never have burnout for spirituality, but I do get burned out at work. I wonder if those experiencing burnout are really doing it as a business or if they are feeling disconnected with how they are expressing or engaging with their spirituality and in need of a change in their approach to it? I have often changed this over the years as I learn about myself and what spirituality means to me. I am a preacher's kid that shifted from the religion I grew up in to folk magic. I feel that I have been able to clarify this for myself, but it did take years. For me, it was a longer process and I think that is because of how I grew up. There were many steps I took between until I found myself.
I agree with this. All of it. It was a long journey for me to find my fit. A lot of changes took place during that time, a lot of exploring and self awareness. I would love another crone channel to watch! Please let me know if you take the leap so I can be there to support you!

Lovely video Trish! I totally get this. For me my burnout is general life burnout - and physical exhaustion - my spiritual practice is always a salve - and when in the past I've felt struggles with my Tarot practice for instance, it's the practice which then can be shifted around me to suit my needs. Some of the most beautiful and profound practices I love are very low energy - candle gazing, yoga Nidra, walking in the woodlands etc... as you say; the magic is in the living practice and connection. ❤ Not quite 40 yet but only two and a half years away 😜 ✨ Thank you for sharing and so many blessings 🙏
