Your lectures on international relations like this are quiet brief and exact to the point.I just have a little suggestion that it would become more productive (i dont know if it becomes productive for you,but for your viewers like me,it surely will) if you add just a little information for about 2 minutes about the trade relations also that what we import and export, by knowing this also,it will become a little more easy to make a difference that relations are important or not, weak or not, strong or not, needed or not,and what changes can we think about to make them grow towards peace.out of 10 i would rate 8,but let me tell you this, you have potential of getting 10! have a happy life take care :)

Instead of appreciation such a great effort you are having issues.. why don't you yourself make a lecture on it and then let others decide how good it was?
Brother.. try to appreciate what you have.

    Dear Ma'am ,
It was an insightful and very enriched lecture. Thank you for taking so much efforts to prepare the same ❤️
Ma'am firstly I believe that as a teacher or as a civil servant it's important to take a stand ! Your approach is positive and realistic . But nevertheless everyone has their own point of view. I respect that.
Secondly I beleive that there's a ray of hope in indo pak relations. Our subsequent leaders of the nation have tried to maintain a balance of power in South Asia(it is necessary though) . Through the diplomatic efforts ,at least we can try to maintain a balance and not engage in skirmishes or conflicts (as it will harm both the countries) .
India and Pakistan are not like minded countries but we share a common history ,culture, tradition, ethnicity, and resources . That is why it's important to overcome issues through various diplomatic efforts (as you mentioned ) .
    Again Ma'am I really like Blue (Neelam's) way 💙 of teaching 🦋

Cultural diplomacy already exists since independence of both countries but surely it does not reduce any bitterness in relations when we (Indians) lose life of our brave soldiers and civilians so often.

There is no pbm that doesn't have solution.. But in case of pak/china we noticed many unpromised talks..so its quite essential to show some vigourness
if it would be d last option to choose for india to protect its sovereignty n integrity.

My take on these diplomacies is
Hydro diplomacy is not a good idea as the common people who have nothing to do with Pakistan or India and want to live there life peacefully will suffer and India being an humanitarian country should not do so as it will makr other nations insecure ( it may lead to weakening of foreign relations)
Cultural diplomacy is a great way forward
We may think of Citizens diplomacy but with a tight security on both the side (India and Pakistan) and secretly but proper monitoring for a specific time period of the Citizens coming (on both the sides)
Boycott Pakistan may be on trade basis
Diplomatic isolation (may not be possible now as mentioned by you Ma'am due to Afghanistan situations and also because of friendly relations with China) in future can be thinked and worked upon

Ma'am We have 'sweet talk' with PRC due to the fact of its large manufacturing sector , and we are still dependent on its exports.
Also it is surely the next superpower and we would definitely not want coarse relations with it from our end.

You are saying India stopped trade with Pakistani. But I read the following in many newspapers. ‘India never halted trade relations with Pakistan and wants to move towards normalising business ties, a senior Indian diplomat here has said, stressing that today’s diplomacy focuses on tourism, trade, and technology because “money speaks its own language”.
    ALSO READ
Pakistan can consider importing vegetables, other edible items from India: Finance Minister Ismail
Suresh Kumar, India’s Deputy High Commissioner to Pakistan made these remarks on March 17 while speaking at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), the Dawn newspaper reported.’ Please tell us what is really going on. Thank you

Ma'am the tussle may end in near future for this efforts from both the parts should be there and the participation should be active, not passive
Pakistani military should understand that it's good for both the nations to establish peace

  • @pragyasharma1220
    @pragyasharma1220 2 роки тому +3

It might sound pessimistic but Pakistan has backing of China and certain OIC countrues in international forums and thus cannot be completely isolated.
Peace can be established only if we improve our bilateral relations with China and give it very stong reasons (economic, political, geographic) to back India and not Pakistan .
And Pakistan going the same way will soon be entirely in Chinese clutches and may even be recolonised by a new master.

I don't think this relationship will take any better turn , because of the mentality which prevails in Pakistan , and the fluctuating Govt. (Controlled by Pak army and ISI) they will never let it happen

Citizens diplomacy is definitely a threat to the security so should not be used in any circumstances.
India has way better educational institutions and we will not be benefited by it but may have to pay a huge cost if Pakistani nationals are allowed in India in more unrestrictive manner.

Ma'am, there is no 'sweet talk' because whenever there is any attempt to normalize the relations, the terrorist organizations ruin the efforts of both the countries. This is absent in India-China relations.
India should retaliate but mildly so that we can warn Pakistan and at the same time not trespass International law. Taking harsh steps could also affect our chances of getting a UNSC permanent seat. For eg, Water from Indus can be controlled but we should not stop it altogether as it would affect the common mass. Secondly, we cannot boycott Pakistan diplomatically from associations like SAARC but we can see India's focus shift to other associations like BIMSTEC. Thirdly, we cannot boycott ties from Pakistan because boycotting problematic nations instead of finding a solution would prove to be a failure of Indian diplomacy.
Moreover, it is necessary to have good relations with Pakistan because of our geographical proximity and security concerns. Cultural and citizen ties can also remove the prejudices from common people's minds.
Thus, we need a balanced approach.

On the Citizens level the difference are many but only some of them are relevant and others are vague

The way the lecture was delivered.. doesn't seems like negative. It was a crisp and clear explanation about the series of events. But if you see it as negative, then your perception is wrong.
