En Taro Adun Executor, your continued videos have restored my faith in the StarCraft franchise. I will admit that Activision-Blizzard’s desertion had shaken my faith.
I always wanted to know who the White Cerebrate was. I am glad he has an identity and not just some nameless and faceless Cerebrate. Today, we tip our hat to Gorn. 🎩
In the novelization, Tassadar sees the effects of Zeratul's attack on Zasz, and he rushes to telepathically contact Aiur to warn them without knowing that only Dark Templar energies can permanently kill Cerebrates/Overmind. Whoopsie-doodle.
@@WhiteFangofWar That's interesting.I always thought he had done this on purpose. He knew how adamant they would be to ally themselves with dark templars,so he decided to show them asap than normal weapons won't work and hoped they would realise that allying with DT is required to save Aiur. Tassadar was genuinely suprised by their stuborness in this matter. "Auir is on the brink of destruction and you come here to..arrest me".
I just thought Tassadar probably saw Zeratul kill Zasz and was like "OK, that's how you defeat the Zerg. You kill the Cerberates." So he relayed that back, then when it didn't work, Tassadar went back to ask Zeratul how it was actually done. "Oh... it needs Dark Templar energies! Silly me, I should have asked"
Meanwhile, on StarCraft Alternate… After a message from Mengsk, who has been accused of desertion by Duke, and despite that offers advice on how to defeat the Protoss, Davis and her Delta Squadron comrades get to work on battling the Executor in command while Raynor's forces get into position for a pincer attack. Gamma Squadron is dispatched to another front, and a different one bearing purple colors aids Davis and Raynor as they take out the Shelak Tribe's Nexus. "LORD OF FIRE" BOOK EVENTS Unfortunately, the advice Mengsk gave is incomplete, for it requires special technology the UED knows, and it's time for Stukov to teach him in full. And maybe Draliska can pick up a few things. As it turns out, Stukov has a device that can track the flow of psionic energies, and it detected the link between Draliska and Duran, allowing him to make sure the coalition is always one step ahead of the Protoss hunting them. Some time was spent assembling the necessary secret tool needed to mimic what Stukov did to Fenix, but eventually Mengsk accomplished it. And not a moment too soon, for the Protoss managed to catch them unawares. More losses were suffered, but they survived and managed to flee yet again. It was soon made apparent that there is more to Draliska than just being a sapient and articulate Hunter Killer. And a plan was set in motion that will exploit his link to Duran.
Only way to defeat the Cerebrates is by using Dark Templars or just make sure the Overmind is dead and then take out the Cerebrates although that second part is to long bare.
Nope I looked up the wiki and original manual, and yep, the Cerebrate of Baelrog is indeed Gorn. Maybe there was a cerebate named Klingon or Andorian or Tellarite. But not Vulcan, that’s more of a Terran thing.
I also read from wiki that Antioch was overrun by Baelog Brood during mission 3 so Gorn hunted Fenix as payback. Hopefully Fenix returns for vengeance in mission 9 and kills Gorn with the help of Zeratul
how did your probe get to the other side? does the edited map have some sort of time-based trigger? since it doesn't seem to appear there on the minimap before this, and the fog of war makes it clear it didn't go through the middle

Aldaris: Don't you dare to talk about Dark Templar, Tassadar! I heard enough of them! Tassadar: Listen Aldaris, why on Adun did you despite them? Aldaris: Because they are Nerazim, the outsiders! Not part of the Conclave! Tassadar: Have you met any dark one in the first place? Aldaris: I would not allowed to speak for that.
Fenix on the front lines? Now THAT's what I call being a true protoss! He hungers for battle, and deserves to be part of every attack!

Wow! Does that mean they're gonna send new custom campaign for us?
And unfortunately for Blizzard, they cannot refute that claim like Tassadar.

Ah, the good old Reavers... They never failed to amuse me.
Rewatching this made me realize the every single mission from Starcraft Protoss campaign has a scene that got meme'd
Looked like Orange was going to fall for a bit there. All these Protoss missions look very tough on Co-op. Mission 7/8 are going to be... interesting.

Tassadar: Hey fellows what did I miss?
Aldaris: Tassadar? Where have you been?
I thought the title was going to end with “… with FACTS and LOGIC”
...and SCARABS!
Tassadar just tell Aldaris to shut up, twice.
And screw the Conclave, they need Aiur.
A Templar has two important missions during their lifetime
1) Defend Aiur
2) Tell Judicators to shut up
Consorting with the Amusing ones is heresy!

Fenix: Executor, we are in position. Plus we got some big a#@ Reavers that would take him out.
Tassadar hold back the information that they can't be killed by normal weapons. But why?
