A rare occasion with the 45 class leading, in the olden days the AFULE put the kabosh on them as lead units. Good loco the 45 class, roomy cab and good pullers, although prone to the odd Ground Relay or two. 4514 scrapped, 48145 ended up as a GrainCorp convert now 48213 and FL220 runs around WA these days.
Not all is lost though as SSR has 4532 then for a time known as 3532 as it was one of six 45's to have been modified with among other improvements had their cabs better insulated. Then there's 4501 and 4520 preserved.

Was 20 years ago in 2004, not 1999. SSR didn’t exist back then.
