Now DPO and DTH operators will charge Rs. 200 per tv as NCF fee as TRAI given them liberty to charge. They already get some margin from broadcasters per channel you subscribe. Additionally they charge carriage fee from broadcasters. They charge for channel placements from channel/broadcasters. They are also earning by placing banner ads in EPG. Some DTH operators even charge money for technician visits. Still they wanted to hike NCF fee and were not satisfied by earning Rs. 153 or Rs. 215 for Two TVs. How much ever they earn, their greed will not be satisfied. Next year they will start cribbing again and NTO 5.0 will come which will give more opportunities to earn to broadcasters and DTH operators. Middle class people who caste their vote will continue to be hit by inflation and will never get respite.
It will become a kind of monopoly.where the DTH company will set the highest price.
