Bought my first Apple Watch (an SE 2) about 6 months ago. For years, I thought they were kind of ridiculous and unnecessary. Didn't know what I was missing. Has helped me to consistently exercise and stay off my phone more by handling notifications quickly on my wrist. I love it and don't think I'll ever go back to not using one.
It is still ridiculous and not really required. But since you have bought it your mind will obviously play the trick and justify the purchase. Sure its fun to have it, but beyond that its just useless. BTW I bought my first apple watch SE 2 today and I love it. Hahaha
Yeah, as soon as you stop using it, you start to miss the convenience of a device on your wrist. Once you’re hooked on it, it’s kinda hard to stop using it.
I just got my first Apple Watch, the SE 2 and I love it. I avoided it for a long time because I just couldn’t justify needing something so big that did as much as it does. I used Fitbit for a few years but just got so fed up with the company’s refusal to update anything plus I felt like the tracking wasn’t always the best. So, I sorta impulsively bought the SE 2 last week and have LOVED it! Literally a world better compared to Fitbit and I still probably don’t use half of the features it has. So glad i have it now.
Just got an SE2 a month ago & I like it. Switching from using Fitbit for several years it took some getting used to. And I could care less if someone knows I have the cheaper watch
I just bought the series 7(second hand unopened for a $200 discount on marketplace instead of a new from Apple SE 2) and I love it, the fast charging is a life saver since I’m a student and don’t have a lot of time in the morning(45 minutes at most) and like tracking my sleep so I can top off my watch in 30 mins in the morning while getting ready. And the keyboard is definitely a must have now, since I don’t like drawing the letters or saying my texts out loud in public and the bigger display is a nice feature that makes it feel more premium.
Bought the 40mm SE2. Love it. I went with the smaller as the larger tends to look less watch and more gadget on your wrist. I can see getting the 44mm if you have a pretty big wrist…but the 40mm actually feels like a watch on your wrist. Better looking style, imo.
I tried on the 40 and it looked like a kids watch on me. And my wrists are skinny. The 44 wasn't big at all. Perfect size if you ask me. But to each their own. It all depends on what looks good on your wrist. I wouldn't get anything bigger than a 44, but it's perfect.
I have a SE2 in midnight and I have been customizing with new straps. I love the magnetic straps. Just got a new strap today from Amazon the HITZEE is great. The short strap has a metal rectangle on the end. I find the metal rectangle is superior to the silicone ring on the strap you recommended. Just a matter of personal preference
Just bought the SE 2 open box on eBay for $175.. waiting for it to arrive but I’m so excited.. I quite literally want this only to tell the time and to have access to notifications without going on my phone at work etc.. this has more than enough features for me personally and the price justified it all

This is my first Apple Watch ..I got the 44 mm first and sent it back cause it’s big ..I got the 40 mm and couldn’t be happier ..the 40 mm just looks better on the wrist on medium wrist ..I don’t know why I haven’t purchased one earlier ..it’s an amazing watch does all kinds of things and tons of apps and you can use your iPhone with it to change apps and faces ..it’s just cool lol ..just word of advice the 40 mm is big and it’s all ya need just look better on smaller wrists ✌🏻 good review
What size of wrist do you have? I have 170mm and feel like the 40mm would look better (more as a watch) but be less practical in terms of showing and doing stuff on the display.
I just bought the SE 2. I wasn’t sure of going for the 8 instead of this model. Previously I had a Galaxy Watch 4 that included EKG and O2 sensor and I barely used it. Plus the keyboard with those tiny tiny letters … I felt it was better in the GW4. Only thing I miss in this Watch is fast charging. I hope I don’t regret going for the 44 instead of the 40 mm

I just got it from Amazon on sale for 229.00, 44mm... I must say it is perfect for me. I come from a Samsung Galaxy Watch 42mm, I used to use a Galaxy S9 phone before I moved to iPhone, a year ago or so, the Galaxy worked with the iPhone, but lost several features (expectable when working with two devices from rival brands), and it was also old already with non functional buttons and screen issues already. Now I have all the functions I needed and more. For me that Oxigen and ECG sensors are not important, thank God I have good health and no cardiovascular problems. My Galaxy S9 had oxigen sensor and I only used it for real during the Pandemic with my mom, because she got Covid (she is fine), other than that, the sensor was barely used. As you said, it works perfectly fine, I saved over 100 bucks by not buying the Series 9 and I don't feel I am missing something, it actually is a huge bang for the bucks! I totally recommed it.
Have a AW6, which I've been happy with, but like leaving my phone behind when I go for a run, so I've wanted data. Just bought an iPhone 15, and they gave me a free SE Gen 2 with a data plan... so very happy with the price I (didn't) paid.
l treated myself at Christmas. Was going to get the 40 mm SE with the Milanese bracelet. Tried the 7 with a silicon strap and that suited my wrist fine. However...when trying the 40mm with the Milanese bracelet, I couldn't get my hand through. Bought the 44 mm with the Milanese. Glad I decided to try in store as opposed to buying on line. Also the lack of an always on display doesn't bother me at all. I grew up in the 70's when you had to press a button to see the time on an LED digital watch!
I'm buying my first Apple Watch soon, and was confused as to which to buy, SE 2, s8/9. I read that if you have an iPhone 14 or lower, then some of the features on the s9 won't work due to the iPhone 15 and s9 having the same chipset. Find my iPhone feature for eg, won't work the same on an iPhone 13. Also if you don't have LTE Cellular the SOS feature doesn't work unless your iPhone is with you as well. I personally don't want cellular. Like to go for my walks and hikes without the watch being connected all the time. On hikes I take my iPhone with me. So keep in mind the features in the s8/9 won't work as well or will be unavailable if you have an iPhone 14 or lower. Thanks for the great review. I've decided on the SE2. The best watch for my iPhone 13.
Same Thing for me. I got a Iphone 11. The SE2 is the best for as saving some money and able to Joy Basic Apple Stuff and move away from the Old School Sport Watch.
the best budget watch across all platforms. I agree there is no point getting more expensive versions unless u have CV condition otherwise ur gaining too little for spending almost double or triple the price
Hello, I recently picked up a brand new series 6 44mm cellular space grey for around 250 dollars so around the same as the se and I’m enjoying it, for around the same price I get the same chip( the S8 is just rebranded S7, S6) and I’m glad I picked it up over the se 2 it has ecg and blood oxygen which are nice to haves that the se doesn’t have and only really missing out on Bluetooth 5.3 and crash detection but they are not really needed for me to get the SE so I’m happy.

At least if you dont have any medical condition, you do not need more If they make a new design with the SE 3rd generation, with new chip and way better battery life... they will kill it once again
I went with the ultra due to battery life and more premium build. Yeah it is a little overkill for me but better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it.
I'm a huge believer in "Check before you buy", and am lucky to live within 15 minutes of an Apple Store so, when I was looking to get my first Apple Watch last year, I went in and tried all the models, sizes and colours. I'd originally been drawn to a darker colour, but wasn't sure of size. I ended up getting a Nike Series 7 41 in Starlight - didn't need the 8's extra features, but wanted more than what the SE2 had to offer (the Ultra was just too big/expensive). Hello, I just recently got an Apple Watch. Can the watch receive phone calls when my iPhone is left at home? Reason I ask is the store assoctiate at ATT told me I can leave my phone at home and just use my Apple Watch and incoming calls, texts, etc will come through. Well today, I left my phone at my house and just used my watch. I noticed I did not get any phone calls, but when I got home I had a bunch of missed calls? Nothing ever came through on my Watch? Now that I am home and close to my iPhone my phone rings and so does my Watch.. My question is, can the Apple Watch not receive calls without the iPhone near? (I tested it and I can make outgoing calls just fine when I am away from the phone)
If you are worried about people seeing ur watch and know you got the cheaper watch. You are mentally not stable. It’s crazy if you think like that and also to mention something like that in the video. Like it matters..
I bought my Apple Watch SE in October 2022. I don't know why, Apple technicians don't know either, but I had to call the warranty for 3 TIMES. The watches just died out. Currently, I'm wearing the 4th watch in a row. I'm worried about what will happen when the warranty expires. What should I do?

I Love my SE2 too. It allow me answer calls when cooking with the Finger Thing. Or Answer calls when the phone is rechargeing or deep into my pocket.

Hello. My query is related to auto brightness. How to disable it? Sometimes the screen getting bright on own. Sometimes dim.
right now, they don't allow you to manually control adaptive brightness (which is dumb I know)

Yes, but you will have to save the songs/podcasts to the watch. If you want to stream Spotify without the phone you need the cellular version

Hello, I just recently got an Apple Watch. Can the watch receive phone calls when my iPhone is left at home? Reason I ask is the store assoctiate at ATT told me I can leave my phone at home and just use my Apple Watch and incoming calls, texts, etc will come through.
Well today, I left my phone at my house and just used my watch. I noticed I did not get any phone calls, but when I got home I had a bunch of missed calls? Nothing ever came through on my Watch?
Now that I am home and close to my iPhone my phone rings and so does my Watch..
My question is, can the Apple Watch not receive calls without the iPhone near? (I tested it and I can make outgoing calls just fine when I am away from the phone)
the cellular version can. The wifi version needs to be connected to your phone
@@dad.0 thats what i thought. i have the cellular version but incoming calls do not come through?
@@KevDoesStuff I would check the Watch settings and make sure incoming calls are enabled and being forwarded to your number
I thought that maybe you had to pay for a separate plan for your phone in order for it to work as a standalone….Without your phone nearby.
Should i get the cellular watch instead pf the wifi!
I always go Wi-Fi since I’d rather use my phone for most communication but if you’d rather leave your phone at home sometimes then go cellular

I bought my Apple Watch SE in October 2022. I don't know why, Apple technicians don't know either, but I had to call the warranty for 3 TIMES. The watches just died out. Currently, I'm wearing the 4th watch in a row. I'm worried about what will happen when the warranty expires. What should I do?

That would make sense because lve only gotten a few drops on mine and it’s completely fine. Tbh I don’t trust apples water proof claim because my friend swam in water 1 time and his Apple Watch broke from water damage

Recently purchased my first smart watch from Apple. Bought the SE second generation 44 mm. Do you recommend a screensaver? I did put an OtterBox bumper guard on it but I am concerned about scratching the screen?

Correction: Apple Watch SE 2 has a plastic back and all other watches have a ceramic back.
