That was a great pick outs sarà thanks for sharing, I believe Reading is not just enough". Take the action! Put your newfound knowledge to use. I read for a long time but Action made my life change in no time ( generally and mostly financially) That's my two cents on this
I struggle to follow through, especially financially. I earn quite enough but hardly have a saving. Rent, bills, debt, expenses take it all away. It almost feels like I leave paycheck to paycheck
Live below your means, Adjust your lifestyle, be frugal in spending don't buy unnecessary stuff, Budget your spending and your debts, Save, Invest it's a better way to grow wealth, get a financial expert to help you.
i always think it’s so interesting how every person who reads a given book will experience it slightly differently. i loved mile high and the themes of body image and self confidence. i thought it was realistic that stevie would feel confident in her body one day and uncomfortable the next. and i loved watching her develop a more positive body image over the course of the book! i always love hearing other people’s opinions though - differences in the reading experience are part of what make reading as a hobby so fun!!
Yess! I knew people would feel differently about that compared to how I did but that’s also fair!! I’m sure if I read more my opinion could have changed
I think it’s so interesting to see how many books people read in a month, I read around 4 or 5 a month but i used to struggle finishing even one… i can’t IMAGINE reading that many books in a single month 😭
SAME but some booktubers earn their money by reading and posting videos about it so it‘s „easier“ for them to read so many books and they have more time to spend reading compared to someone who works a “normal” job or goes to school/college.
knew this was coming soon and I am SO excited! I had a very successful reading month in March and honestly, you helped a lot because every time I watch your videos, I am instantly motivated to read
I totally agree with you on how the romance in fantasy books hit harder than romcoms, they’re epic and there’s no going back once you get into fantasy 😂
Hi Sara I love your videos I have a book recommendation it’s called Orbiting Jupiter by Gary D Schmidt it’s about a 14 year old boy named Joseph brooks who gets put into a foster family and is on the search for his baby girl Jupiter
Books I read in March: - By A Thread, Mistakes Were Made, The Deal, Two Wrongs Make a Right, Archer's Voice, The Score, Twisted Games. such a good reading month. some from you and Larry's recs and it did not disappoint. Love your vids, Sarah. I've been binging them lately
I had the exact same experience with mile high and DNFed it too!! I was sad that I wasn’t able to get the hype that soo many people talked about.. and you have the same feelings about the main characters and her body shape that I can totally relate with🥺🥺I do get it’s supposed to be positive but I didn’t really get it
Carrie soto is back⭐⭐⭐⭐ Once upon a broken heart⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 Ballad of never after⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A taste of poison ⭐⭐⭐⭐ My dark romeo⭐⭐⭐⭐ Daughter of no worlds⭐⭐⭐⭐.5 From blood and ash & Then she was gone Caraval The woven kingdom
for mile high, Evan Zander’s is a character you meet in Staying Selfless by Liz Tomforde which I LOVE i love the first book called Becoming Selfish but the reason i haven’t read Mile High is because of how Zander’s is with women in Staying Selfless. Unfortunately Liz Tomforde is having huge issues with Cherry Publishing who published Becoming Selfish and Staying Selfless but i loooooooovvvved the duo logy.
Hi Sara For the Taste Of Fae Series what other fairy tales are retold besides Little Mermaid and Snow White? I am doing a comparison of Live Action and Animated Disney movies and want to tie my book reviews into the video with the movie reviews. The other movies we are watching are Aladdin, Beauty And The Beast, Cinderella and Mulan. Thanks a ton. I love your videos. Thanks for the recommendation.❤
I should have listened to my instincts. Everyone was rah rah Mile High but I had zero interest until I read about book two which I was all in for. But because of who I am as a person, I thought I needed to read Mile High first. I had 100 pages left when I finally said if I don’t stop now, I will light this book on fire. Now I can’t bring myself to pick up The Right Move. Mile High is in my top three most hated of all time. Everything about it is a no for me.
I just read Mile High for a vlog… my biggest thing was a strong “I’m not like other girls” vibes I got from the main character. She loves IPAs, sweatpants and thrifting sooooo I think that’s pretty common. And YES she was super insecure about her body where she didn’t think she deserved love - hate that. I’m leaning fantasy romance now same as you
I felt the same way about in a jam, it dragged on foreverrrr & honestly mile high did too. I really liked mile high but it could’ve been like 200 pages shorter!!
Please read rest of the Caraval trilogy!! Jacks doesn’t come in until second book, imo 2 + 3 books are way better and once you’ve read them add so much more nuance to OUABH books - difference between jacks in both series is like 😚👌
Lisa Jewell is an amazing author but the summary’s never hit. I just don’t even read the summary’s anymore and just read her books, because I always enjoy them.
I’ve been reading the same book all month 😭 It’s probably a sign I should dnf it. I keep using the excuse that I have work, school, sports, etc… I need to just *choose a new book*
Fun fact if you use a little lemon oil it will get the sticky stuff off your book if you want the target sticker Gone. Love your videos I just bought half the books you recommend 💖
i read mile high and overall their relationship was solely based on both of them wanting to get into each other's pants (which gets really repetitive btw). i also couldn't connect with all the characters in that book considering how cringey their interactions were. but i have to admit zanders did have a character development and he helped stevie to be more confident with her body (which ig is the only redeemable part throughout the book) idk but maybe this book was not right up my alley which explains why im not a big fan of it
omg Sara this month I literally only read four books and then I picked up like three books and could not for the life of me find a book I was able to finish. I AM IN SUCH A SLUMP ITS NOT OKAYYYYYYY
Okay so I don't read a lot of fantasy so the cover of Daughter of No Worlds scares me but you made it sound so good?!? Do you think I would make it sister? lol
hi sara! i saw in one of your other videos you had “what lies in the woods” by kate alice marshall. i just finished reading it and i think you would love it! it follows a small town mystery and is a very quick read. i hope you can consider it on your april tbr ❤
me freaking out when you said you read from blood and ash, my favourite series of all time, and then you saying you weren't gonna say much...until the next video... the waiting will be torture.
Ok so I DNFd Mile High too so I’m delighted I’m not the only one. It’s a fan fave and not sure why? Also I just read The Serpent and the Wings of Night by Carissa Broadbent and you’ll love it! Book 2 comes out April 13.
i dint really enjoy mile high either tbh and i thought there was something wrong with me! but the right move was so much better. i was literally giggling and kicking my feet every page 😭
I just started reading magnolia parks because of you and i am in love with it so thank you for that Sara cant wait to see your opinion on the last daisy haiths book bc i know its on the tbr Lots of love ❤
sara would you ever do a video of reading wattpad romance books? there are so many good ones that aren’t cringe and i think it’d be fun! plus they’re free :) if you’re interested, i can give some recs
i can’t wait to read Daughter of No Worlds after your review! i also dnf In A Jam 🤣. I felt the exact same way about it as you & I was sad because I thought I would love it!
in mile high the playboy thing is just a persona for the media, he's rlly a nice guy n stevie doesnt take his shit from the time she meets him n their romance is everything so i hope u give it another chance!
The way you say “channel” will always be satisfying
oh my gosh yes!
PLS🥲 THANK U

In This Woven Kingdom he name is pronounced All-e-zay
I am literally the same where I don’t like kids in books 🤐 or surprise pregnancy. 🤣

i love your channel sm sara!! ❤
REALLY hoping you loved From Blood and Ash, currently reading this series and is so freaking good

Sara is definitely putting me in my fantasy era and I love it 🥰
You go, girl March was a whole reading slump for me
Totally DNF’ed Mile High too haha
Legendary and Finale to me were better than Caraval. Maybe I’m just obsessed with jacks….😂
I felt the same way about in a jam, it dragged on foreverrrr & honestly mile high did too. I really liked mile high but it could’ve been like 200 pages shorter!!
Omg the way you say 1990s makes me feel like you think it was 19hundred horse and carriage no electricity 💀 jeeze it wasn’t that long ago 😅😬
READ CARAVAL ON AUDIBLE!! The narrator is sooo good!!!! It’s made this a favorite series for me!:)
some fantasy recs that i loved/liked since your in ur fantasy era

Agree about In a jam and Mile High. Couldn’t get into The right move either.
i almost dnf'ed mile high, i would 100% read the right move tho. i completely agree that the fmc was too much i didn't like her at all.
the other two book in the caraval series is sooo much better. You should def pick them up sooner !!!!
omg i highly recommend the right move which comes after mile high, it’s so much better. ryan shay is the best book boyfriend ever!!
love how these videos feel like a little facetime w a friend
I feel your pain! I'm loving the fantasy books I am reading at the moment but it's been really hard to get back into reading regular romance books 😂
