I used to be fearful and uncertain, wondering if I was good enough to be saved. Then through Bible study I began to understand exactly what Pastor Doug is showing. First of all, Jesus says “the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.” John 6:37 Praise God! Jesus meets us where we are. But THEN spiritual growth is the Holy Spirit’s work in us once we start to follow Jesus. “but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy” 1 Peter 1:15-16 That couldn’t be more clear! Both are important, but we can’t put the cart before the horse.
For me, my personal thought is that the real question is "How do we prepare our hearts to receive Spiritual Truth from the LORD," because at the end of the day if we are not spending time alone with GOD we will not be perfect in regards to growing spiritually. Otherwise, we are saved but not free being in need of deliverance. And in a nutshell, a born again believer without having an intimate relationship with the FATHER in Heaven is an unhealthy lifestyle that doesn't please GOD the FATHER. In other words, without building up a relationship to please GOD YOUR MAKER then you do not know JESUS as LORD and SAVIOR. For example: carnal Christians. 🌹

Everyone who comes to the Lord in faith is saved. He will not deny anyone seeking Him in faith. That’s pretty awesome but it is even better than that. He imparts His righteousness to us here and now. It’s not a future event unless you have yet to put your faith in Him. Salvation is instant and complete. You do not become progressively saved. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are as saved now as you will be on the day He returns and throughout eternity. Does that mean you are complete? Yes, but He will continue that work which he began in you until its completion. He will continue to guide you from the ways of your old self. But, you have to know that your identity is a kingdom citizen. You are no longer a sinner but are a saint. Recognizing that fact will influence your walk to the good. Nobody can be perfect. Mary, the mother of Jesus is the only human being who was perfect,because she was conceived without original sin, in other words "Full of Grace." After death, if we die in God's friendship our souls have to be perfectly purified before entrance into heaven.
Sorry but Mary was not perfect. She was no different than any of us sinners. Nowhere in the Bible does it state Mary is a dirty, or perfect, or that we are to pray to her or look and pray to her the way we do with Jesus. Where do you people get all that nonsense.
