Proton Saga BLM/FLX Handbrake Adjustment & Centre Console Removal (Proton S16)

A quick guide on removing the lower centre console on a Proton Saga BLM / FLX to fully access the handbrake.
If you just need to adjust the handbrake height, you can do so through the opening in the handbrake gaiter, no need to remove any panels.
My handbrake lever was wobbly, and I had to tighten the 2 bolts holding it down.
Then I sprayed some WD40 over the ratchet to clean out some dirt. This fixed the problem whereby the lever would not fall flat after disengaging the brake.
I also noticed that the paw rod touches the gaiter and friction over the years has created a tear in the gaiter allowing dirt to pass through. I patched the tear with a piece of material similar to the one used for the gaiter.
A few simple fixes resulted in a much better handbrake.
