During the yuletide, Real Admiral F.B.I Porbeni (RTD) a man known for his philanthropic gesture and service to humanity made a promise to gift a bus to the Catholic daughter Association (CDA) of CWO, Corpus Christi Cathedral Parish Port Harcourt, as an award of honor was been bestowed on him as "Model Father Ground philanthropist Award"
Today we witness the fulfillment of that promised as it came to fruition
And so to present this laudable gift was the daughter of the admirable admiral Mrs. Bikepre, who handed in the 18 seater bus, in honor of her late mother who she said was a member of the Catholic daughter family during her lifetime.
"The bus, gleaming in the sun, represents more than just a means of transportation, It symbolizes a commitment to service, community, and faith."
The President of the Catholic Daughters Association, (CDA) CWO of Corpus Christi Cathedral, spoke with excitement, while receiving the bus.
The Priest of Corpus Christi Cathedral Port Harcourt, blessed the bus and prayed for the porbeni family.
In a heartwarming display of gratitude, the Catholic Daughters Association paid a visit to Admiral Porbeni’s home in Port Harcourt. They were warmly welcomed and treated to a grand reception, where delicious meals and heartfelt thanks were shared.
The president of the association spoke on behalf of the group, presenting a portrait as a symbol of their deep appreciation.
Rear Admiral F.B.I. Porbeni, the generous donor, was moved by their gesture and, in return, gifted a pack of rice to everyone in attendance.
Mr. Kalio, the son-in-law of Admiral Porbeni, expressed his gratitude on behalf of the family, acknowledging the women's kind show of appreciation.
