Did you ever see any clips of that man watching a football game? He was a super fan and known to scream along with the commentators. 😇 (all while sitting in full lotus position)
I hear you Ed... My husband and I love shaking things up. We have just moved to the Cayman Islands from New Zealand for three years. I’ve retired due not being able to work here. So what’s a gal to do at 57 year old on a tropical island, sign up on a YTT 200 hour training😂
A few years ago I saw the price of Yoga Teacher training in Baja California for $3000-4000USD. OK, you're probably going to be spending $3000 for a couple of months vacation anyway, so it's not that much more. But do you actually make any money teaching yoga? My guess is 99.9% of yoga teachers do not make enough to even pay back their teacher training costs, much less support themselves. And check out what yoga teachers on Koh Samui make when you get a chance. I'd be interested in finding out how many years you think it will take to pay back the costs? I used to go to a yoga class in Chiang Rai for 1000B per month. Don't know what you're paying for teacher training, but I suspect it's lots more than that. I'm sure the TT is much more intense than just going to yoga classes everyday, but remember that 1000B enabled me to go to as many classes as I wanted. If I wanted to go 2-3 classes a day I could have. Not sure how that differs between TT, except you probably get room and food provided inbetween classes? Seems to be a bad investment, if you look at it from a financial standpoint.
Those who view life as a series of monetary exchanges to be victorious in are, well… missing the point of the whole thing. ps. I’m not intending on having any second career. Just a rich and healthy life full of fulfilling experiences and memories. It was kind of you to write so much. So I wanted to reply with some honest food for thought. All the best, Rocky.
Thumbs up 👍 Ed & Tomo
Thanks MSR
How exciting to have the opportunity to try new things and explore various interests! Looking forward to updates!
Yeah, I'm lucky to have this opportunity. Going to make the most of it! Thank you for commenting.

OMG - Best of Luck!
Thanks! Let's hope so!
Actually would love to see a Tai Chi adventure rather than Yoga but Yoga at 58 will be fun as well.
Will keep that request in mind 🤣
