In 1645, the real China was enslaved by the Manchus. The Chinese lost their orthodox culture, and some of it was regained in 1911.

In the Ming Dynasty, feet were bound, while in the Qing Dynasty, they were mutilated. Perhaps the Han people did not like their daughters to be raped by the Manchus.
