I feel like you're able to make any color work! I find they're very pigmented on my skin tone as well so I don't reach for mine often. Loved your sweet co-star in this video, what a cutie! 😻 thank you for the swatch comparisons of the blush shades!

This was the discussion I needed regarding the NARS foundation. I love the Lisa Eldridge but would like something more dewy as well. I too have struggled to find a NARS shade that works for my light- light medium neutral olive undertone. May go swatch again to see if I can make something work. Your cat is giving main character energy today ❤️
Oh good! Yes, the Nars is a great, dewier counterpart to the LE foundation, and I really hope you can find a decent shade in it because I think the formula is beautiful (I have ordered a full bottle in the shade Oslo since filming this video!). 😂 Freddie is such a shining star😻

I really love that Patrick Ta shade on you. I have it on my wishlist now! I'm shade 2 in the LE foundation and tried Oslo in the Nars. While the color match was great, I personally thought it looked too "makeupy" on my skin.

Interesting about the blush. In the pan this one-the powder especially-looks *so* much lighter than all the other duos of his, but it’s useful to know that it’s still very pigmented. And thank you for the comparisons! I have the Salt and Mimi so I’ll stick with those.

The creator of nars said this foundation is meant to be applied w fingers bc it has to warm up. I tried it w my fingers and it looked a lot better. Still not my favorite foundation tho. My favorite foundations so far has been ysl all ours and the new guerlain! But the nars light reflecting pressed powder is my favorite every day under eye powder!!!

I wear the shade #1 in the LE foundation and was able to make Oslo work in this foundation! I think that for you it would be the perfect shade ❤️ I have found the Lisa Eldridge one to be the most invisible on the skin yet blurring + perfecting, but the NARS Light Reflecting has my ideal finish - the natural glow is just perfection and the level of coverage impressed me. I wonder what would happen if I mixed the two 🤣

I have worn Oslo and it’s definitely a little pink. It would probably work on you if you use Lisa Eldridge No 1. They look the same - too pink- on me but I prefer Oslo.

Lovely look. I’m going to check out the blush. I also am very fair. Have you tried the new makeup forever foundation (not sure about ingredients). There seems to be more fair and light colour options.
Thanks Sandra! I haven’t tried the MUFE and think I’ll be passing on it at least for now, but I agree that the shade range looks like it has some good options for fair skin! The ingredients are fine for me but I have heard of some people breaking out from it so that has made me hesitant to try it 🥰 🥰
Thank you for the video. I am thinking about trying Nars tinted moisturizer in the future. If you have tried the lightest shade in the TM, was the shade too deep for you? My skin tone is similar to yours and now I am concerned the lightest shade might be too deep.
Great question - I have tried it in the shade Terra Nueve, which I think is still the lightest shade. This was years ago, before they expanded the range, so I don’t know whether they reformulated or lightened Terra Nueve, but it was too dark for me when I tried it 🥰
Hi Kate, I am curious to know how the shade Oslo is on your skin. But I am sure you will let us know. Yes I think Nars make beautiful base products but the shade range is a bit tricky. In the tinted moisturizer I have Terre neuve but I mix it with the Laura Mercier t.m. in Blush. And than it is not bad. I hope the Lisa Eldridge samples will be back soon. Love the shirt that you are wearing in the end of the video. (Green and red)

Thanks Rhonda!! ❤️ 😂 You love your blushes!! 😊 Me too… Personally, I know I will continue to get more use out of the Salt Rose because it requires no thought or effort compared to the Patrick Ta, which I have to be more careful with due to the high pigmentation.. but the Patrick Ta is more bulletproof in terms of wearing all day long without any fading! 🥰

Does the sonia g classic cheeks only come in the set with the darker bristles? I see individually beautylish only has the classic cheek with the white bristles.

I’m curious, is the Patrick Ta packaging metal or plastic like Tom Ford packaging? I was actually shocked at how cheap the TF packaging felt when it’s a $90 shadow quad. I remember Clinique single shadows in a metal mirrored case that felt very lux and wasn’t as expensive as TF at all 🤷🏻♀️
It’s plastic, feels about the same as the TF. I hear you - have had similar disappointing experiences with “luxury” plastic packaging (I’m looking at you Hourglass and Chantecaille 😉). 🥰
@@KateFace21 thank you for answering. It’s nice to know what the actual packaging is as you can’t tell on video. I don’t buy products usually for packaging but when it’s pretty pricey, I expect it to be be much better quality. LE is a great example of getting the details of both luxury AND product down. Same with House of Sillage (although HOS could improve their customer service)

Wait you need more subscribers. If want them of course. I rather match undertones then depth any day but it would be ideal if they had at least a warm and a neutral in th same depth. Look at that cat. They are always in peoples business. If that was a dog your brush would of been gone.

😂 Yes, cats can be like that, can’t they?! I do have to be careful with my brushes around my dog, though I think he understands that they are precious to me (he once chewed a lip pencil in half, and learned from that experience 😉)
