I think I get it now, one’s got the other’s memories imprinted in their brain, both have daughters named Zoe which is how the copy believes they’re the real Deadshot. This sounds like a Waller experiment

@@Brandon_Y. they backtracked and said that shit wasn't canon to arkham verse now🤷♂️ i kinda prefer it that way i like the movie but not it being part of arkham verse
"As a result of the Earth-2 Deadshot continuing to work as a mercenary under the name Deadshot, it brought a lot of heat down on the original Floyd." It still doesn't make any damn sense. How did Batman or literally anyone in the old games acknowledge in that time that "hey wasn't Deadshot black? What's this white dude doing now" even with similar names you gotta be blind to not notice they're different people. This is a lazy retcon that just makes Batman and the others look stupid
So in the end they couldn’t even commit to the retcon or multiverse BS. Like you said, the fact that Batman didn’t notice 2 deadshots is stupid. ( especially after their duel. The bullet holes left from the battle would’ve been a dead giveaway) the multiverse excuse is another example of lazy writing. The fact that a guy had to come from an entirely different reality to justify the black deadshot retcon…the multiverse concept needs to be shelved for at least 5 years cause this is dumb
To me the biggest gap is how it complicates the timeline, by the time of Arkham Knight both Boomerang and Shark are already dead Not to mention Harley had already met Waller more than one occasion by that point but somehow with this game it never happens I see the game as either an elseworlds story or a seperate timeline of its own, but never and I mean never will I consider it as a part of the true Arkham timeline, not just because I dislike the game but that it logically makes no sense within the series and complicates all that the true rocksteady had pre established
@@railie6081 exactly. At least then he would have a connection to Superman instead of the weird/forced rivalry with Green Lantern. Plus it would be a nice way to highlight a Superman villain who doesn’t get a lot of shine.
This is what happens when you make Deadshot black in your game and then halfway through someone reminds you that Deadshot was white in the last two games, so now you have to come up with excuses as to why Deadshot is black this time around. Never mind the extra canonical details from Assault on Arkham or tie-in comics which killed King Shark and Captain Boomerang. Or were there two them too.
@@Raiden22YT comics are also too contradictory like arkham knight Genesis showing us the Asylum being destroyed in an explosion. But in arkham knight it's where batman was unmasked. Bane was killed by Jason in the comics but in arkham knight he moved back to Santa Prisca.
I am certain that the other Deadshots were from different universes since the multiverse is a major part of this game and main focus for the DLC. The same with the Justice League. That’s why the evil Flash clearly still has a thumb after there was so much focus on Boomerang cutting off his thumb and trying to cut off other thumbs. There were even several closeups of the Flash’s hand and his fingers spread apart.

So the “fake” Deadshot has been around since Arkham origins and the “real” Deadshot finally killed him? Yeah… that seems like horseshit. That would mean the “fake” Deadshot would have been around for at least 20 years… this is some of the laziest retconning I’ve ever seen lol. I think he may have had theories, but I don't think he believed interdimensional travel was even possible since it's never happened in his universe before. So he probably chalked it up to coincidence. However, if he survived long enough in this universe, he would've come to that conclusion quickly.
Because there was only one deadshot on his earth during the events of asylum/city/origins/knight. The multiverse only started to screw up in the gap between knight and suicide squad. That's when Brainiac starting taking alternate worlds.
Arkhamverse Deadshot retired when Zoe was born, and she's apparently a teen when this game takes place, so he's been out of the picture since before Batman was even in the picture. So he would have only known one Deadshot, and considering Arkhamverse Deadshot was able to live in peace without being recognized, he probably kept his face hidden. Earth 2 Deadshot was also Floyd, so if anyone did know his name, they probably didn't know his face, meaning any records of Floyd Lawton doing assassinations would probably have been attributed to the Floyd Lawton currently active as an assassin named Deadshot whose face was known, even by Batman, simply because 'multiversal doppleganger' probably wouldn't be the go-to answer for him even if he did find out the Deadshot doing those earlier assassinations was black.
Why would he? Until after Arkham Knight, there was only one Deadshot active at any given time. And since the original wore a mask and gloves his whole career, and the second one had the exact same name, skills and M.O. (due to being another Deadshot from Earth-2 it seems - Lex was clearly lying) Batman had no reason to suspect there were two Deadshots. He's the world's greatest detective but he isn't an omniscient god.
Guessing something is interfering with his life. Give it to gman refrence from half life. Or the fact Batman hasn’t seen the difference enough. Waller must of been unaware until brainiac came along. That explains why she was unaware of the situation he had.

Ngl, I prefer a black deadshot over a white deadshot. I'm not saying that because of wokeness, equality, and racial inclusion, not even because I myself am mixed with black. Deadshot being black is like Batman being white or black panther being black. I just feel like it is naturally better for the character to be black than white.
I think both is fine within other continuities and other worlds, but since this is the Arkham universe, it would be nice if continuity wasn't obstructed the way it was in this game. I personally prefer a white Deadshot mainly because that's where the character's roots are from. And that's where Deadshot's roots in the Arkhamverse was from

So, Deadshot we saw in Batman: Arkham Origins, Batman: Assault on Arkham and Batman: Arkham City is actually Floyd Lawton from Earth-2, whose biography, DNA and fingerprints match those of Deadshot from Earth-1 (Arkhamverse), and unlike Floyd Lawton, who We've seen all these years, the REAL ONE is black, and he killed his Earth-2 doppelganger, thereby regaining his identity and reputation back. Is one of them also in another Earth?

I'm one for headcanon, especially with the Arkhamverse, so I try to tie all of the little continuity breaks into a nice little package. My personal, not-at-all-canon, fan theory is this: King Shark from AoA was a regular guy who heard stories/myths about the real King Shark and became obsessed with him. He experimented on himself with Shark DNA and who knows what else to become who he is in AoA. He was so obsessed with the legend of the real Shark that he took his real and code names (Nanaue and King Shark) as his own. The KTJL King Shark is the true one from the stories/myths Again, that's just my little headcanon that makes sense to me 😂

I see the game as either an elseworlds story or a seperate timeline of its own, but never and I mean never will I consider it as a part of the true Arkham timeline, not just because I dislike the game but that it logically makes no sense within the series and complicates all that the true rocksteady had pre established

This is all fine but how did Batman never figure this out?
The Identity thief strikes again.

So did the new Zoe had a "Fool had it comin" moment with the OG Zoe as well lol? 😂

The Deadshot of the main Arkhamverse had retired the Deadshot moniker after his daughter Zoe was born. I don’t care about the deadshot change the old one looked like crap anyway
He also had mid boss fights (seriously, world's greatest marksman and the best they could do was sneaking to a vent when his back's turned?) and no mention of his daughter outside a non-canon movie. Well, that's quite a logical explanation for why Deadshot was made black. The only thing I don't understand, however, is why King Shark is alive if he was killed in Batman: Assault on Arkham, and why does his appearance in the game differ from his appearance in Batman: Assault on Arkham? Is one of them also in another Earth?

I'm one for headcanon, especially with the Arkhamverse, so I try to tie all of the little continuity breaks into a nice little package. My personal, not-at-all-canon, fan theory is this:
King Shark from AoA was a regular guy who heard stories/myths about the real King Shark and became obsessed with him. He experimented on himself with Shark DNA and who knows what else to become who he is in AoA. He was so obsessed with the legend of the real Shark that he took his real and code names (Nanaue and King Shark) as his own. The KTJL King Shark is the true one from the stories/myths
Again, that's just my little headcanon that makes sense to me 😂
The Black one came from a Elseworld but somehow didn't noticed changing earths? Same with Shark cuz he should be dead
Guessing some sort of barrier that Batman would have not seen until in person. He was unaware.

While I’m glad they gave an explanation, this is just so lazy and honestly would’ve been okay if KTJL was its own canon.

Same for me it says it unlock during chapter 6 and I completed it and still looked, did you found any fix?
I thought they were going with a multiverse explanation until he started talking to his daughter and i was like are you serious they actually followed through on the this is the real dead shot.
Just say floyde trained a new guy. Now the reason they did this is probably because of the 2021 film and the 2016 film and they were worried people would be confused even though deadshot has been all sorts of colors.
But the video shows they did go with the multiverse explanation

@@somedorkydude6483 It's entirely possible Earth-3 Floyd crossed over without his own knowledge. People do that in the comics all the time. He walked or fell through a rift in space, or he was hired to kill someone working on an interdimensional transporter.
If Earth-3 was similar enough to Earth-1, he probably didn't even notice he'd been sent somewhere else and just resumed his work.
