    WoW!! What an excellent teaching. I've been struggling sooo much and wanted a clearer understanding of Paul's letter when he wrote "I do not understand my own actions, I do not practice what I wish, but I do the very thing I loathe" (Rom 7:15 AMP)
    That 1 verse describes mt struggle and I have been wrestling this and the Lord led me to your channel.
    Praise God 🙌 And thank you for helping us understand the scriptures. I had a revelation listening to your teaching. God opened my understanding through this and now I know what I need to do! Thank you and God bless you pastor!

    I have spent most of my life on the book of Romans. What I can say is that it is far more holy and mysterious than anyone claims it is. Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Romans is a book that is spiritually discerned. To begin to know it's contents and meaning, one must know about the cross - about suffering for righteousness sake, about alienation, being deceived by false brothers - about dying to this world. It is God who gives life. Only He can raise the dead

    I have been struggling with sin in my life sometimes it seems like the harder I try the worse I do. Have really been devouring everything about Romans 7 because I want to know if this applies to me before Christ or after regeneration. My conclusion thus far is that I had no struggle with sin before regeneration in Christ because sin is what I desired to do I had no desire to be righteous before Christ.

    But Faith came, in order to do what the law could not do, save us, true, now the only thing left is proof that you have been saved, how you might ask, well, Faith without works is dead, so imagine seeing that speed sign once more, what are you going to do? Slow down, rebel against it because your no longer obligated to it or understand now that you have been relegated from the punishment of speeding only to come ful circle and say, well I still have to follow the speed limit! What are we saying here, be careful, most Christians believe that Grace means free, and that faith means no obligation to the law, but scripture says otherwise, because you are now sabe by grace through faith, you are no longer enemy of God, but guess what you are still obligated to follow the commandments not out obligation it out of love for Him who gave it all for us and showed us that yes we are save through faith to now become a slave to righteousness, so now we are obligated to give fruit and prove you are one in Christ,,,,by their fruits you should know them, furthermore Paul said in Romana chap 8:9. “ if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.” So be careful how Scripture is interpreted by the Spirit of God, most Christians opérate not in legalism but totally the opposite spectrum, which is worse,,,”I don’t ave to do anything “!

    Dear Brother
    That teaching was great 👍. Thank God for the clear simple way in which you present truths, understandable to everyone.
    Thank God for your teaching gift.. :)
    However, I have to disagree on the way you presented the point that we will sin anyways and not be perfected. I would agree generally to the statement but if we say it like you did then what is the mark we need to be pressing on to? Isn't it perfection? because if we say we will sin anyways even after being set free without balancing it , then people can get comfortable and not want to progress in Holiness, since they are wiithout a standard?
    Also didn't Jesus say ' Be ye perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect '. Did He say it just simply or because that is the standard we need to aim for?
    I would also bring in the need to interpret the scripture in John that you presented about sinning along with other scriptures that talk on perfection. We need the whole counsel of God.
    My conclusion is; yes we do sin at times and we may never attain to perfection but we get up and keep aiming for the place of perfection in Christ He has called us to.
    1 John 3:9

    Sinners need to yet be saved. 1 John 3:4-8 KJV
    Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. [5] And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. [6] Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. [7] Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. [8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

    • @noybiznatch

      Strawman argument. Christians are NOT supposed to walk in willful sin. IF, IF we sin we have an advocate with the Father through the Lord Christ Jesus. Notice it doesn't say when, because that would admit defeat from the outset. And we are supposed to have an attitude of being victorious over our sin. We are not to let sin rule over us. Renew your mind DAILY and die to the flesh. God makes a way out of every temptation.
      Titus 2:11-14
      11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

    • @fightlikeaboxer
      @fightlikeaboxer Рік тому

      We all keep sinning that’s why we need Jesus❤ that’s why we ask for His forgiveness. I’d ask God to give me strength and to deal with my sin issue so it lessens it’s hold. I’m in noooooo way perfect, I sin (we all do) but I know it’s not an excuse to just sin either. I see it as part of our walk (maybe I’m wrong 🤷‍♀️) how we learn to let Jesus take the wheel and to keep trusting in Him.

    If we were slaves before coming to Christ and we had no power to help ourselves or set ourselves free, what about unbelievers? If they are slaves and victims of their condition or environment how can they be judged for that? As in they are blinded so how can you condemn a blind person for not being able to see? 🤔

    I will from this day forward call it the Spimit Lee. Speaking on rules is it okay for women now to preach?

    • @gabehcuod681
      @gabehcuod681 4 роки тому

      I'm not an expert by any means. Keep in mind that this is my personal view: The most famous passage about women preachers is when Paul is instructing Timothy. So it's not something from the old covenant and not something that is derived from the law if I understand it correctly. Someone once explained this to be because women and men are different. Men are created to be somewhere in the middle of the "emotional scale", less easily stirred by feelings, more pragmatic. Women are by nature more caring / emphatic and feel more. It doesn't by any standard mean that men are superior to women(!!!). Some parts of scripture almost would suggest otherwise (but that's not true either). Men and women are equal in the eyes of God, yet created differently with different roles. I've always viewed this subject as sound advice for the optimal disposition of a church. I would furthermore argue the same about dress codes in church: It is not necessarily wrong for a woman to go to church in a tank top or for a man to appear in a tight t-shirt exposing muscles (if she or he doesn't have any sinful motives with this) - but the result can never the less be that someone is tempted and/or distracted from worship. In some congregations there might be no other alternative than having a woman Pastor - and that might be okay too. I believe that women have pivotal roles within the church, just not primarily to be leaders. That is how I view it. In the end we should do what God instructs us to do. It might not always seem fair to us, but hey - since when do our feeling do us any good? Isn't the bible telling us to not lean on our own understanding? Isn't the bible warning us about pride? I don't think our churches should be swayed by the political whims of the world but instead rely on what God has ordained for us to do :)

    I was enjoying this message until you started contradicting yourself. So sin shall not have dominion over us because we are not under the law (Condemnation) but under grace. So how then are you saying we are now free to break the law because of grace. This makes no sense! If you are going to single out a Commandment like the Sabbath, what about murder? Are we now free to kill people because we are under grace? Do you see how this makes NO SENSE WHATSOEVER?
