at first I was like huh?... there'll probably be a flash back scene or something to help explain but I love it how you don't know what's going on till the climax of the max. Its like BAM this is you! I asked Steve Cobucci (Lead Singer of Wolves) The other day after one of their concerts while they were on tour if they made up this song all by themselves which he proceeded to tell me "Yes, it just kinda came came together". This song is some high quality story telling and I love to see when bands can create a story in their music, really awesome guys!
Why is this band so good? I'm serious, they make great songs! And this video is very good too.

I love that small motif of showing him snarling and baring his teeth at 4:13. It only happens for a second, but I think it was just a perfect addition for his portrayal. So primal.

I know I’m very late but omg this is the first time I’m seeing this music video. The cinematography reminds me of Yorgos Lanthimos’ film, The Killing Of A Sacred Deer. Because of the long, uneasy, creepy shots of the hospital and the blood. ITS SO GOOD!!!!! And the message and lyrics sends chills down my spine. So amazing guys, God bless!
At the beginning I tought the man was like a husband waiting for the wife to wake up from coma, but as I saw the apple and the man walking away, it was clear.
It's hard to understand the power of Satan and we should never underestimate him.

Dang. A bunch of subtle things are in the video. Excellent storytelling.
***** I'm not too sure, but going off of WATG's themes, I'd assume it's related to the Fall of Mankind or death from sin. The man is the serpent and the lady is Eve. Symbology I considered are the man's eyes being solid black before he blinks, after she comes to, the apple he eats, and the flash of green in her eyes and the theme of betrayal, probably setting the scene of Eden.
I'm not too sure; I'm sure I missed some stuff somewhere, and I've only watched it twice, once on a tiny phone screen.

A story of betrayal.
***** Bondage to sin basically seems like betrayal. As the lyrics put it, it's like asking for more and more, betraying trust and hope, which inevitably results in the death, described in the song lyrics as sinking fangs in. Sin involves a lot of false hope, which I could see as betrayal. I don't think you're wrong at all. I think I just see it a little different, and you may know more, for all I know.

Holtzclaw I thought that the song was about addiction in which the bird fell for the snakes tricks and became an addict and the she tries to escape her addiction through god she does for a little while and then something bad in her life happens and so the bird overdoses and the snake was either a drug dealer or mate the snake was the actual drug I'm not sure but all of this I thought up was before this video so maybe I'm completely wrong,probably but hey music means different things to different people and that is why it's beautiful

This song is phenomenal when they play it live.
This song is about the devil who brought pain to the human heart (letting humankind to know evil by eating the forbidden fruit). Here the angel is presented as the snake and we are the bird, fooled by him. Everytime we get sad and without hope, we fall in darkness. The same darkness he sustain himself(see he is eating the apple representing the forbidden fruit).
Thank God for music and bands like this.
