In the Englund gambit accepted line, after 6.Nc3 the best move for Black isn't Bb4. It is Nb4 with the théâtre on c2. 7.Nd4 a6 8.Rb1 Qa3 9.Rb3 Qa5 10. a3 Nd5 11.Ncb5 Qa4 with a huge advantage for Black. We have to learn them because a lot of players just know the first 6 moves !
Thanks for that! This is one of those lines that reminds me that human chess is also inescapably psychological. Objectively, insofar as determined by engine accuracy, the entire Englund Gambit Complex is refuted. However, in practice within the limits of the human mind, especially at the beginner-intermediate level, the Englund Gambit is not only playable, but potentially quite good!

15:55 what do you think about Ba6?
I think the engine might think of that as preferred, but from memory, both are draws.
