Those look great. Wow, that medallion looks amazing! I've always liked how the front cap is higher up the vamp similar to how St. Crispin's does theirs. Skoatie's site has a nice example. Excellent pick up!
Gorgeous!!! I think you have enough expensive brands to make a video titled “shoes beyond 1K” or something like that, where you can talk the things you can see on this level of shoes with is not find in other price range or something like that
I was thinking about that concept. I’ve got a few more coming that will help us achieve a critical mass even better. Look for this as a Series in 2021.
Absolutely beautiful shoe. I’ve been looking at Stefano Bemer for years and am currently saving up to eventually put in a commission for “Six Pence” Bespoke Oxfords in Russian Reindeer.
I took a look at their site, and I admit they have a very beautiful style. I imagine these will be the standard by which all others are measured. I feel that way about my Vass.
In terms of quality I agree that Vass is up there. In the world of hand welted shoes, which outside of bespoke is relatively small, I would rate Vass a two out of five and Bemer Classica a three. The materials for Bemer appear (and I just got them so I need to validate this) a step above and closer to bespoke level. I would rate the Tradizione level (which is a major step above with the hand carved fiddleback plus) is a four, along with Saint Crispins, Acme and others. More to follow as I continue to deepen my understanding of the 1000+ strata.
I wanted to buy a pair from the Tradizione collection, beautifully made shoes. However, non of their lasts fit me. They are too big around the vamp. MTM will not help me either, since the last can only be build up but not down. The only option would be bespoke, has anyone here experience with their bespoke quality? Interested in both of their bespoke lines. Thanks
I don’t have that experience. If this group doesn’t have an answer I would try on the Facebook group “high end shoes” there are a number of experienced folks on there.
This is positano calf in reddish brown with a dark brown patina at heels and toe. Apologies. I referred to the wrong shoe. These Bemers are vocalou calf in the 8192 dark brown color.
My goodness it’s nice. I have a couple other wooden boxes coming. I might actually do a video on who makes the nicest shoe box. It’s crazy how nice they are!
Wonderful shoes! I didn’t know they have Black Friday sales and promos...
Possibly the Ferrari of the shoe industry.
totally agree
Wonderful shoes. They are great addition to your extensive collection.
Thanks!

Gorgeous! Lovely last.

Wow! Just the tradizione version alone is exquisite. The six pence must be next level!

Beautiful craftmanship there, best keep them for indoors then they'll stay lovely longer! 😃
Lol. Not likely there my friend.
Nice kicks! Bemer makes really nice shoes. Those are super sharp!
Thanks

Their boxes are lovely; I use it to store all my polishes, etc!
