I was about to comment but then I realized you have the ancient zenpad and mines a 3s. I can confirm that the Zenpad 3s 10.1 outperforms my wifes Ipad air 2 by a country mile.

I have an 8 inch screen ZenPad from 2016 and I have the same wifi disconnection issues. I may try a factory reset to see if that helps, but overall, despite the nice bright display, it has too many annoying characteristics and is disappointing compared to my old 2012 Nexus 7 which was also made by Asus. It frequently (and unexpectedly) loads the contacts or the camera app at screen wake up which I can't fathom either; very irritating. I too will not be buying another of these. I guess I'll have more time on the radio! Keep up the good work with the videos.

The screen on mine broke after 4 months and ASUS refuses to cover under warranty. The store I bought it from is saying nothing I can do.
