Hi Kirk, how can you organise banners in Evmux? In StreamYard you can have up to 15 Folders with up to 50 banners/Tickers in each. This makes it super easy to organise and also to quickly find appropriate banners on the fly. In Evmux I can only see one banners section - do they all have to go in there and you have to scroll through a long list to find the one you're after in the moment? Would love your thoughts on this because you always have great answers! 😊
@@annarichards6056 wow thanks for the comment and support of the channel and the confidence in my thought process. Honestly I had stopped using banners as much even in StreamYard. I used comments from myself of my moderators to communicate a message cause I can easily click to show it on screen and if there’s a link it was clickable in the chat. But to answer your question for me each show in Evmux has a different studio and by extension different banners. Additionally I use pro scenes to show specific banners on the scenes that I will always want to share the same information. Have you tried Pro Scenes yet? I will admit the organization of several things like banners and even comments are definitely different but when I started using SY I didn’t like them either LoL we’ve been forced to get used to something new so my advice is to embrace its newness and try not to force this platform to work the way our previous platform did. I hope somewhere in what I’ve typed you might find something useful. Apologies for not having a direct answer. Please feel free to ask more questions and by all means keep creating content!

Hey Krik! Are you still using both EV & SY? finding EV takes a while to go live or even record, and no warning letting you know when you go live, like a countdown, you just are recording or live. A pain. I love it's audio quality and video quality seems great though. For 1/2 price basically of SY now.
@@LoveGuruGreg Ecamm is still my go to for Streaming and Recording but I do use both SY and Evmux for client projects fairly regularly. I go live with a flyer or countdown video. It’s definitely a learning curve but I would also recommend sharing the feedback to Evmux, they are open to fixing shared pain points
Kirk, man, I have dug deep to try and find this answer. You have been quite responsive, previously. I have watched your content as well as others, and researched EVMUX' FB page. 🤷🏼I don't want to go LIVE right away. I want to "practice." I want to have some guests on, and record, and then upload to my editing software, and edit out all the small talk, and keep the meat of the content, and when done, THEN upload to my YT channel. I don't think this is possible with the FREE version? Am I seeing that right?? Thanks so much. 🥤

The answer to your question is No. On the free plan you have 3gb of recording storage and up to 12 guests on screen with 1080p quality but you will have the evmux watermark. As a courtesy they allow recording the first 7 minutes. It’s just for prospective subscribers to be able to test the recording feature. Basic plan unlocks that feature. Which is considerably less than StreamYard even though I’ve seen several say it’s the same… not sure where they are getting prices from. Hope this helps.
