A suggestion that the treadling order under the tie up you should be able to put the number of picks per treadling because of needing to know for the tabby you may have to have between each pick
I have set my EPI at 8 and ppi at 5 for an 18” x 12” place mat. The program is showing I need 500 heddles for my 4 shaft loom! It seems to be something about pattern repeats but my pattern is only 32 ends. How do I control the number of repeats?
Using the yarn calculator add-on, set the width of the project to you desired width in inches. The width is multiplied by the sett. In your case, that would be 8 x 18 = 144 warps and that would be how many heddles needed. So I don't know how you set the width.
@@SallyBreckenridge-kk7ku Sally, I am so impressed by your fast and helpful response! Whatever the sneaky little gremlins toying with me last night they are behaving as they should today. I had set the width in the Project module at 18” and indicated the sett at 8. Now Weavit is showing the exactly correct number of heddles. Last night the gremlins were saying that should be 500+ heddles! I haven’t made any changes other than to walk away from it for the day. All is good. Thank you!
Thank you Sally. I appreciate the demo. I have a new iPad and I'm learning the use of the pencil with it. Are there any special settings I need to use for the pencil...the color selection isn't working on my iPad with the pencil.
I have an old iPhone and downloaded the iweaveit program. I can't download the treadle tracker. Will the program work on an 8th or 9th generation iPad?
It’s needs to be running IOS 12.5 To run iWeaveIt. If you have that operating system or higher it should work. If iWeaveIt is working then you should be able to get the tracker.
In WeaveIt pro for Mac or Windows, you can import a design to create but it uses one pixel per thread to define the draft. I can be either a tie-up or motif that is analysed. You can not do this in the IOS version of iWeaveIt.

The number of pick shows on the status bar at the bottom of the screen. It is the same as the number of wefts.

The selection is done with timing which doesn’t work with pencil. To select press harder with pencil till selection starts and then drag.
Can you find the double weave tie up?
IWeaveIt doesn’t support double weave. You need the pro version to Windows or Mac.
