For all our sakes, Todd needs to dial down on Gold Labels, McFarlane Toy store, and Collector Editions because he should focus more on doing regular releases and doing figures the way look on the trading cards but hey, He owns the DC licence so it's his choice on how to work things properly.
Amazon Canada came through and delivered me the Platinum with my order of two. Couldn't complain, but I also wanted a spare regular to chop shop, and GameStop came through pulling one in. I think that's my toy luck for the year.
Glad you finally got one, I got mine from Amazon in a miracle moment for $4.00. I did a mod to her arm sockets involving flipping them inside out and exactoed some material out and the gaps are closed now. I love her face, its like a mix of the Alex Ross version and Lynda Carter.
The only Wonder Woman figure from McFarlane that I have is the Endless Winter Gold Label Wonder Woman a and I got that as a cool 2022 birthday gift as a 18 year old, However, I hope GameStop has her available because she looks beautiful while looking so badass, Overall, Great review on this classic Wonder Woman figure Toyshiz.
Awesome review, dude. I agree with the "it's just a toy" stance, even though some features are not so desirable, like trigger fingers and the simple string lasso. I do really dig the accessories, though, give me all the weapons, haha. Glad you locked this one into your collection! Cheers! ☕️
Same problem but mine was a surprise. Eventually arrived from Amazon and it was the Chase Figure 😱 I didn’t realize until my sibling pointed out the different colors 😅
So annoying at Gamestop. Agreed. Just went there today to look and the dude would not stop. They need to learn how to read the situation. I know they're just doing a job, but still. At least he didn't ask me to join the club when I checked out though.
@@dahhmlife my understanding is like store warranties, car warranties, and other extra costs dude is under pressure to make a quota. Not pitching joining the club(an extra) and commenting on it allows dudes boss to scrutinize his productivity. It was a dark joke.
Bane had a bit of a rocky release. It went to some stores, Target first. Walmart barely got any and the ones that went to GameStop errored on their app and made them all $5. Which they honored. There’s no confirmation to anything. But I’d imagine he’ll be back eventually 😉
Found one a couple months back at the Gamestop near me that never has jack. Was very surprised to see her on the pegs. Cool figure, but baffling that something like Captain Carrot was/is easier to get a hold of.
i really hope mcfarlane does like a second production run of this figure because its the hardest figure to find in the entire line, and thats saying something after azbat. i really want one but the only way for me to get one even months after release is to pay the ridiculous ebay prices, which i really dont want to do.
Best buy is integral to American values, a titan of industry, the place of all i depend on in the community, where if it wasn't there, i would be stuck with target and ikea. That must not happen!!!!!😂❤
I got sent the Chase from amazon I didn't really want it. I wanted the standard colors. Now I'm stuck with it and all online stores are sold out. I don't want to pay scalpers nor do I want to take chance on a trade because many people will scam you and won't send anything to you anything in return. I don't understand why Todd would limit this. The aftermarket is collecting money they are not getting. I hate this, lately all these exclusives are turning me off and I'm ready just to sell off and hope someone else gets DC license. Neca did same thing but made corrections to make more popular stuff available again.
Mcfarlane toys should be ashamed of this Wonder Woman attempt. Disproportionate, bloated and unsightly. If we don't call out bad attempts; that's all we will get. P.S: The accessories don't make the figure.
