Ustad Nisar Hussain Khan - Rampur Sahaswan Gharana - Maestro Speaks

Rare footage of the legendary vocalist Ustad Nisar Hussain Khansaheb (1909-1993) of the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana speaking about different facets of music. This particular interview comes from footage shot at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy in Kolkata and features his nephew, son-in law and senior disciple Ustad Ghulam Akbar Khan asking the maestro various questions. Grandson and nephew Ghulam Niyaz Khan is also seen sitting with both maestros.
