- Well after a couple of months of technical issues I'm finally back with a video. It's been awhile between drinks but I'm back out with Livo chasing a few mangrove jack on live bait. I filmed this a couple months ago before all the recent storms and flooding and it was supposed to be a warm up for what's to come but this crazy weather we've been having put a dampener on that idea. Anyways I've got a new MacBook so I can edit again at least so keep an eye out for some new content coming soon. Cheers guys.

Before the rain mate. My MacBook died last year and I only just bought a new one so I’m a bit behind.
At night use dettol and olive oil to keep sandflies or midgeys off works during the day but you get sunburnt

Snell 3 times 4/0 suicide hooks for mullet 2 times 2/0 for herring and biddies on 40lb leader and you won’t miss hookups, I actually pin the tail on mullet with the rear hook leave the middle hanging and put the hook under the chin and out the mouth the hanging hook sits on the outside of the mullets swim bladder … you will stop bait being ripped off and catch more fish guaranteed…
I feel like that’s asking to gut hook fish running that many hooks mate. Typically a quality fish will take that bait head first and hook up and the majority of pulled baits are from non target species like bream. I guess more hooks will help but when a giant eats a bait that big F off 8/0 doesn’t let you down mate.
what rod and reel are you using?
That will be Lew’s 7’ 20-30lb TP Black with a Lew’s Super Duty reel mate.
Great bait chicken livers and breast in layers heaps of salt then fish oil.Done right will not go off just smells like fish oil use as berley with finely crushed bread stick older better a quarter will do one session .dip bait in the mix and hold on bit of bread no sinker killer bait

Yeah but other nights you need to be that quick cos a proper fish has ya bait and is round a pole before you even get a hook set on it.

I’m just taking the piss mate. Any bait or lure presented in the right place at the right time is super effective.
