Great video! Just wanted to say that tape method will actually work quite well if you use masking tape. Same method as the paper and sticker, just tear it lengthwise. Used that method a few times to make tiger striping, too.
No it wont. need spray or airbrush. unless you find a way to glue the salt and make sure it sticks to the car before drybrushing the top coat slowly without moving the salt. then once dry, you can remove the salt to reveal the undercoat of RUST.

Does the salt chipping work if you're brushing the topcoat on, or do you have to use aerosol or an airbrush?
