Who knew there were TWO great single-word titled ANWR "outtakes" songs that started with S? It's a shame this and Surrender were never released on an album. (Though Surrender did get a promotional one-sided 7', I think.)
well - at least the synth line at 0:55 etc. then made it into "I'm Alive" in a similar form. On the lead vocals I'm totally confused - which one is Jeff and which one is Nathan James? To me, everything actually sounds very Jeff-like,
This song was recorded for "Supersonic", a 70s TV show. This particular version of it was originally posted to UA-cam by Nathan James, with himself on lead vocals.
Just how many great songs has Jeff Lynne written and produced crikey ❤

This is great ! Jeff .Thats why I always will love ELO
Soy fan de Electric Light Orchestra e inexplicablemente no había escuchado esta melodia.
Sounds like "Open Up Said the World at the Door" by The Move. (Jeff Lynne was a member at the time.)
Great call back!
Elo lo más grande y jeff un genio
The Mike Mansfield who wrecked so many live videos with his 'arty noodling'? Ah yes.
This almost sounds like it could be the theme song to some forgotten 70s TV show about a super heroine called "Supersonic".
Series 1 Episode 1: Supersonic faces the Sly African Swallow.
It is supposed to be a theme song for a 70’s TV show
The much better theme for this TV programme.
I love it!
From the harmonies to the voices, this has Jeff written all over it. It's fantastic. But he never used as much organ and clavinet as they do here.

Sounds like Jeff is doing all the lead vocal.
this sounds more 1975 than 1977? like FTM rather than OOTB
Is this a bonus track? Sounds like songs from 'On The Third Day' album. 🤔
