0:36, I ran into your house, cut the box, and ran out...all before you even noticed. That's a nice case but probably makes it harder to fit in your pocket.
I got this JSAUX ModCase for ROG Ally X about a week ago, but I can't get the holes on top (except the trigger/button holes which align perfectly) to align properly with my ROG Ally X. The "lip" on top which is supposed to hold the rubber in place doesn't stay in place no matter what I try and the holes get misaligned a bit to the back, so I can't cleanly plug in the USB without pulling the rubber back from the hole and fingerprints aren't recognized. It misalignes even worse after the cover has been on. I was hoping the rubber would somehow stretch to fit better out after a week, but it didn't, in fact it even got worse. @Iso Motion I can see in your video that yours didn't align fully either and you couldn't get the "lip" to drape over the top front edge and stay in place either, although you said that it did. I'm curious, were you able to solve this issue? It's a sad state of affairs with these ROG Ally X (2024) cases. All the regular cases for my old Regular ROG Ally (2023) I have tried fit well, including the JSAUX one, but for some reason all of the ones I have tried for my new ROG Ally X (2024) have various alignment problems. Besides the JSAUX Mod Case I have tried two really cheap ones that both align the top holes perfectly, but I had to cut out pieces to enable the triggers to be pressed fully because they draped over the back plastic underneath the triggers and were too high to be usable. Does anybody know a case that fits perfectly with the ROG Ally X? I haven't tried Dbrand Killswitch yet, as they don't sell locally and importing it would be an extra expense on top.
Sorry to hear your having issues. Mine isn't aligned perfectly either but it also doesn't affect any of the buttons or vents on the top. For me personally, everything is working and well within acceptable use and I'm still happy with the JSAUX case. I'm able to plug in the USB without moving anything, use the fingerprint, etc still fine. I do believe that the fitment was way better when I got one for my steam deck so idk if they rushed the ROG Ally X version too quick. Unfortunately, I think the only choices is this and the killswitch until something else comes along. The killswitch seemed a little too expensive imo which is why I went with the JSAUX one.
This case fits like shit! Avoid it! Nobody should buy this . The buttons and ports are obscured on this because of the horrible fitment. I wasted my money . I'm trying to save you all from wasting yours.
@@iSOMotionVR Your video shows otherwise. The holes are slightly misaligned (granted, not quite as badly as on my unit, but still) and the "lip" isn't draped over the screen to hold things in place. Were you able to get it to fit better and how did you do it?

Does it add a lot more weight? This device is starting to get quite a bit heavier than my originally Ally with a Gripcase.
@@TRUEfoe doesn’t feel drastically heavier but will update you if it’s bothersome.
Will it fit when you dock your ally in the jsaux hb1201 docking station?
@@shaniapuspasari3288 not sure since I don’t have that docking station, sorry.
Can you close it with the skullnco thumbgrip installed ?
@@adik2213 yes I can!
I was thinking about dbrand at first but that just cost too much.
I felt the same way, which is why I went with the JSAUX one and its cheaper.

I haven't had any of these issues.
It doesn't fit right, it doesn't even fit right in your video.
