When I looked online this week the prices had gone down (which is what you see in the thumbnail) but still waaaaayyyyy too much! I’d much rather DIY for a fraction of the price! You could use an actual planter "saucer," in place of the mirror. You can usually get one at the dollar tree, too. You know, the little plate looking thingy that a lot of planters come with. These were all adorable, and I agree the hanging basket is awesome. I want to make some now. It reminds me of makrame.

Yes! I got it from amazon and I like the size of it much better. Usually I get the nautical rope and take the 3 pieces apart before using it but this was much easier and faster. Thanks so much for watching 💜

😇🌷 I think that all of the DIYS turned out REALLY GOOD, and I'm actually going to DIY the vase, but since I already did a vase, that's about the same size as you used, I found one a lil smaller, than the one you used, and I'm going to see, which of the ropes I have on hand, looks the best for the vase I'm going to do. Now I just need to pick a color LOL 🤭 or who knows, I might even use the same color as the one you used. I think you did a great job on all of them, but like you, I think my favorite is the hanging planter.
Also, talk to your doctor. Peanuts are not actually nuts. They are legumes, so your children may not be allergic to them or they may be allergic to peanuts, but not tree nuts. Just a thought and I thought you might think it worth talking to your doctor about.

So we went to the allergist and they are definitely allergic to peanuts and some other types of nuts...some of them are Hazelnut, really strong response to pecans and walnuts, and coconut...which I’m not even sure is considered an actual nut. But you bring up an interesting point because I wonder if we need to be careful around other legumes. Like, aren’t English peas in that category? 🤔You are so right, I need to follow up with the doctor just to clarify some things. Thanks so much for bringing it up...in the craziness of all the current events, those questions kinda fell to the back of my mind and it’s a good idea to call the doctor to clarify soon! 💜

I love rope and these came out beautiful! I don't much care for DT's nautical rope, I used two packs and found out when I was finished, the ropes were not the same thickness, lesson learned.
