Thank you Francis for uploading the period I was born in - hard to believe these songs (and myself) are 40 this year. This is the best year for music in my eyes. Both top and bottom have good songs. 'The Lost Opera' unusual but works. Deserved more! 😊 Pete Burns is missed. A true character. Toy Dolls...is interesting...a children's song. That Bananarama song is underrated. 'Ti Amo' deserved better than last. Ewwww Gary Glitter. Unfortunately I've heard that played still. A shame Queen's Christmas song (as well as 'A Winters Tale') never gets attention. So many great songs, highest standard of entry possible (85% of a brilliant standard) and too many to pick as favourites. A true group of death here, but I think if I had to choose, I'd go for Wham 'Last Christmas' and for non-Christmas song the underrated 'Friends' by Ami Stewart. Probably non-conventional choice but it's a forgotten gem.
I was always surprised a private dancer and invisible missed out on the top 20 but some great songs in here....until we hit all the Christmas rereleases.
Francis Pelletier vous faîtes du très bon travail😊. Merci beaucoup pour ces moments de partage.
Such a great year for music. Even songs that charted or peaked really low sound great.
Not unusual for charts
The truth was a great band with no big hits

I was 6 months/7months old when theses songs were in the charts.
I was born in November 1984....turned 40 two days ago

L’époque de la naissance du Top 50 et de Canal+ en France😊
Musicalement parlant c’était la meilleure décennie avec les 1970😊
Tears for Fears - Shout, Shakatak - Watching you, Wham - Last Christmas is My Favorite!! Very Good Songs!!
It's amazing to see just how many songs attempt to make the top 40 but fail.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ !!!
Woo forty years ago.
No surprises, loads of Christmas 🎄 songs
Most of these songs i never heard play on the radio in u.s.a.
Some of these records have been played on Forgotten 80s on Absolute 80s.
The Flying Pickets cover is a great song 😊
Always great videoes! Can you make from the 60s too? And more 70s
I already made of lot of these
I saw that too. Love your videos
I Wonder how your favourite list of French ESC songs would be. My no 1 is Divine by Sebastien Tellier ❤️ White and Black blues no 2
That opera song is very unusual 😮
I Don't see Murray head one night in Bangkok, was definitely in the charts at that time.
Late october 84
Nellie The Elephant 🐘 is a great song 😊
Great video as always. Some of the records in the December 1984 segment were released in January 1985. Keep the videos coming.
Shocked that the Prince song did not enter the top 40 😮
I thought that myself.
What way are these songs compiled? Great memories but the order is so wrong
Lloyd Cole- rattlesnakes should have been much higher
Всё, кроме Маккартни,"Слэйд" и "Битлз"- полное гавно...
